Okay last summer, around July/August of 2010, I saw this ad in front-page article on Yahoo and I figured I'd try the "free sample", which of course included $9.95 for S&H, no big deal, very common. But a couple of months later around Thanksgiving time, I got this call from an unrecognizable "debt collector" that claimed I owed $98.50 or something for Kronos. When I got the sample, I didn't realize that it was supposed to be a 30 day trial, and of course it didn't work with my hair so I trashed it, not knowing what was just around the corner. And they demanded I give them money and they actually frighten me, some lady named Mrs. Odoms was usually on the phone, so I begged my mom for me to borrow $100 considering that I only had about $2 in the bank at the time, and when they called back a day or two later they demanded $107 over the phone but I of course was shocked and I had it on speaker phone and my father and I fought with them and threatened to sue. A couple of weeks later, Mrs. Odoms called back asking for me to use my computer to get a "discount" and she of course just took out the $98.50. Usually I'm good with recognizing scams and I was shocked that Yahoo would advertised something like that, but this really threw me for a loop.
