I worked with Korzu Taplin on a production that turned into the biggest joke job of my life. She had an idea of making a fitness video which just looked like a bunch of ghetto bimbos dancing around to Beyonce in her friends living room. She gave the crew a limit of $10 for lunch instead of having any kind of craft service. We were told to park in a specific area which was a $20 parking spot and we were told we would get reimbursed for our sound equipment rentals, special wardrobe, makeup kits, gas and lunch. Halfway through an actor told us that she was bragging about not paying "the white people". She walked around the set yelling at everyone like we were 5 years old. She insisted that her idea would get bought by Vitamin Water so she was making the cast and crew take pictures with Vitamin Water bottles. By the end of the day she informed my crew that she in fact did not have any money to pay us and freaked out when we told her we would not be returning for the remainder of the shoot because she was unprofessional. She was a racist gypsy woman who at the end of the day seemed like she was more crazy than anything. She claimed that she "knew Steven Spielburg and that she would be on top of the world one day and would be able to buy us white mother f**kers"... very unprofessional.. such a joke!!!! DO NOT WORK WITH HER!!! YOU WILL BE FORCED TO TAKE YOUR LOSS BECAUSE ALL SHE WANTS IS TO USE PEOPLE FOR THEIR SERVICE!!!! THE MOST RACIST PERSON I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE! Another example of what she lies about, she emailed us as "Jay B" and claimed it was her personal assistant but come to find out... Jay B does not exist. She also sent a series of emails after we chose not to return to her "production".......... She insisted on trying to get the cast and crews SSN for W-2 but didn't own a production company and didn't have money to pay anyone... sounds fishy, right?
