In 8/19/072 I recieved a call from the Kitchen connection asking if they could do a quote on our kitchen.We were ready to re do it so we said yes.A man named John came and did the measuring and came back later that week with a quote and we gave them $1000.00 to lock in at there so called great price. never heard back from them.I kept calling and calling and went to the office where I was told they were so busy someone would contact me soon.3 weeks later got a call and they said they had to redo the draft for they had mis placed it.And we did want to change some things so we had Joel a new guy called the Manager re measure.We were told the price would be higher because of the changes and we were asked to give another $4700.oo for the down payment and they would start the work in 2 weeks. I never heard back from them so I called and I was told Joel no longer work there.He was fired for not doing his job. I then was talking to the Manager Named Chuck. He told me they had lost my draft again and would have to re do them again. weeks went by never heard from them called the number they were out of business. Tracked Chuck down at the Los Angeles off and he told me don't worry we can do it from here in LA. I asked for my money back and I was told they do not refund.dont worry we will do the work. Years of calls I have made I could not really take time off my 2 jobs to fight for I was also carring for my sick Mother who just died 5/15/11. Now I see the Los Angeles office is closed and Mr George Hewfett steinkamp has open a new business 03/07/11 called Custom Home Design. Now he plans to cheat even more people out of there hard earned money under a new business name. But beware I am coming after you.
