We will begin posting all research regarding him and his companies. All state and local authorities will be updated in order to protect Utah Citizens. Basic & Partial History of Alleged Kimball scams and crimes (see some links below) Allegedly, after several lawsuits and being investigated in UT in 2005 by KSL News for fraud, over charging and etc. (see one KSL link below) and allegedly, after paying fines and facing possible charges here in Utah, he escaped to Beaumont, Texas, set up a new company “posing as a roofing contractor†to scam and steal from unsuspecting victims of Hurricane Rita. Allegedly, after investigations began on him and his company, he again escaped to Hawaii. Allegedly, in 2007 he was in hiding as a Fugitive from the US Marshals in Hawaii for the Texas Hurricane Rita crimes and fraud his company committed. Finally the US Marshals tracked him down and arrested him in his hideout. "Anytime we have individuals who violated the law by scamming innocent victims, we'll do everything in our power to find them and bring them to justice," U.S. Marshal in Hawai'i Mark Hanohano said in a statement issued through Ferstl. Allegedly, while hiding out in Hawaii, Kimball Dean Strickland, established another scam company that has had its license canceled without the possibility of renewing for a minimum of five years because of deceptive practices. Allegedly, he paid fines for some of the scams and allegedly, still has outstanding dept and charges. (see the Contractors Board link below) On his, In The Basement explanation, He stated “I returned to Texas on my own†and corrected the problems that his employees created, when in reality, according to The Starbullatin, Honolulu Advertiser and other newspapers/media, he was chased down by The U.S. Marshals Service and the Hawaii Fugitive Task Force, arrested in Hawaii and turned over to state authorities for extradition to Texas!! Some believe he purposely does poor work hoping that victims will call him back to repair his work believing it is under warranty and then he will send a new bill for the repairs to his original poor work. Allegedly, this is what he has done in all of the other states he has been investigated for. Allegedly, he avoided returning to live in Hawaii to avoid investigation, so he moved back to a small town in UTAH (Midway), to begin his deceit to the trusting citizens there. He has many lawsuits and judgments on his record and I’m sure many more to come. We feel very sorry for the victims of Kimball Dean Strickland (Kimball Roofing/Above All Roofing and Repairs, LLC) who do not have the financing available to fight them. We are working with several legal advisors to set up a taskforce to do just that so please send all of the information you have. We will update you as we finalize in 2012. Today Utah's Division of Consumer Protection cited Kimball Roofing. We found Kimball Roofing had filed several lawsuits against clients. The company claimed those customers owed more money for the work it did. The customers say they paid the amount written on the contracts, and didn't owe anything else. Utah's Division of Consumer Protection agrees with the customers. The citation was for two counts of violating the Consumer Sales Practices Act. Francine Giani, State Consumer Protection: "You've got individuals who have paid for what they thought was a service. They completed that association, that arrangement. And then months down the road, weeks, or shortly after paying what they thought was the full amount, they were then hit up for yet another bill from the business. I think that's problematic." The company could face up to two-thousand dollars in fines. CONTRACTORS LICENSE BOARD (Sting operation to catch Kimball Strickland among others) • Kimball Roofing Energy & Maintenance LLC, Kimball D.
