Kiely Ball Hearing aid Dispenser Auditone Hearing Aids Doesn't honor State Laws, illegal contracts, former employees say the same! Westlake Village, C |

This man treated us very abusively when I tried to help an elderly friend return hearing aids as is the LAW in California. The owner, Kiely Ball, yelled at me and told me he did not have to honor any return policy (California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act enforces this). He then called the police on us when trying to return them. After much haggling and calling the State Board money was returned. We then found other victims through the internet and have personally talked to them. SCARY stories. Many have lost money or were told they would have to lose almost a thousand dollars if they returned their hearing aids. We talked to FIVE former employees that told us that they were instructed by this owner to never give back ANY patient's money. If you call the State of California he has NINE accusations against his license and there is supposed to be a trial against his license. This is the link to the state accusations: http://www.dca.ca.gov/hearingaid/public/ha7244_20100610_acc.pdf He does have offices in Oregon and Nevada. I would stay FAR away from him. He acts nice at first and then gets abusive to you. If I'm not mistaken I don't think he even has a 4 year college degree, he definitely doesn't have his Master's degree and he is NOT a doctor. Go to Costco. They CAN'T rip you off, give you an illegal contract or take advantage of you there!!! good luck! |

I can attest to this too. In fact he received a huge punishment from the state of california. He is on 4 years probation, has to pay $70, 000 to the state of california by April 2012, and take ethics courses. He has hurt many people financially. He also has many court cases and lawsuits against him. I would not give this man one dime of my money. |

You can call the California State hearing aid board at 916.263.2666 to call and find details and also there is a fund set up by the state for victims to collect their restitution. |
