Please note that all the so called good reviews that they receive are from YEARS ago. The more recent ones are not seen when you google karens body beautiful reviews. May be if I had known that I would not have wasted my hard earned money.

I contacted them about two times in regard to their products prior to making a purchase. The first time was in regard to which product they would recommend for me. The second time was in regard to their preservative system as I am allergic to phenoxyethanol and citric acid. I SPECIFICALLY asked them about their preservative and they did not respond. Please note that by LAW ALL COMPANIES have to list their full ingredient list on their products. Karens Body Beautiful does not. She tauts her "natural enzymes" but she intentionally does not list what preservative she uses at all. This is not only ILLEGAL but is flat out unfair to the customer. I asked and never received a response so I guess they intentionally just dont want people to know their REAL ingredients.

I went on and purchased Karen's Body Beautiful products during their black friday sale...I purchased three hair milks and the hair butter (I avoided the hair nectar as I am allergic to some of the ingredients).

First off, when I inquired about my order I received nothing but attitude. I called them and received some snappy response about how they hadn't made my order yet.

When I tried the hair milk I was EXTREMELY dissappointed. I am a member of naturallycurly.com and I heard from many reliable sources that Karens Body Beautiful was giving people hair nectars instead of the hair milks that they ordered. It's really my fault. I should have known that I would get lousy customer service just by the fact that they never bothered to respond to me. Little did they know, a friend of mine GAVE me some of the hair nectar to sample (which is how I knew I was allergic to it) and it is the exact same texture and feel as the hair milk. To a T. I also (of course) got irritation from using the hair milk (which is really the hair nectar). I dont know if it's because of the fact that they are using phenoxethanol and/or citirc acid (of which I am allergic to...I guess we wouldn't know since they do NOT put the name of their preservative on their product label) or if it is because of the ingredients in the hair nectar. Either way, they are CONCEALING INGREDIENTS and are giving customers hair nectars instead of the hair milks that they ordered.

I will NEVER purchase from Karen's Body Beautiful again and I dont advise anyone to do so either. Horrible customer service and horrible products! I will be sure to tell EVERYONE I know of this.

BTW: I know someone who can test what is inside of a product and I plan to do just that to see what their REAL preservative is since they refuse to tell customers. We spend our hard earned money on products of the natural variety and all other businesses list their preservatives...Karen's Body Beautiful should too. Another thing. Aside from the fact that the hair milk (aka hair nectar) was average at best....the hair butter is nothing but a greasy mess and is not moisturizing at all. You can make better.
