I posted an Ad on craigslist to find my dog, Sadie a better home. I am a single mom to a 3 year old and I work two jobs - I wasn't giving her the time she deserved and I wanted better for her. She is only 1 year old and I did NOT want money for her. I wanted to find her a family that would love her and take care of her, also send myself and my mother pictures from time to time so we know she is happy and doing okay. After receiving over a hundred phone calls finally; Rick called me. He says his dog was stolen about 6 months prior and they are only left with one dog "Rocky" who is their sons dog - and wanted another dog for their other son and their dog Rocky. I liked that he was a dog trainer because obvioudly anyone who did that for a living is a "dog lover".
I brought Sadie to his house and he had a big yard, big house and Rocky was outside alone.
He said he really liked her and thought she would be great for his family and his wife came out to meet her and said she couldnt believe how much she looked like their last dog who was stolen.
He asked "Do you like her Honey"? She says yes... they would like to keep her. He says he is going to send us pictures with the kids and will call my mom for her paper work and shot records. Never does - Two weeks later I look him up online to get his number to ask how she is doing and see my dog FOR SALE for $2000, along with his "Family dog - Rocky". I call him and ask how shes doing and at first he says her training is going well and when I tell him I saw her for sale he starts stuttering and he says "She went after his youngest child" but on the website it says "Sadie is great with children". My intentions for her were to find a great home and I thought this was it.
I asked for her back to find her a family and he says I can have her back if I give him $2000.
He is a SCAM ARTIST and Manipulated me into believing he would give her a good home now my poor dog is in a Kennel somewhere waiting to be sold.
He says we don't have a contract so he can do whatever he wants with HIS DOG. I didn't make out a contract because I thought he was a genuine person and actually cared, he lied. I didn't think I would need one because they LIED right to my face about their dog being stolen and their hearts were broken, etc. The person who stold that dog probably went through the same ordeal as myself!!!! It's not right - RICK you are a SCUMBAG!
and I hope the Karma hits you back sooner than later and I'm sure it will. I will be on every website to let people know the type of person you are.
Just know .... he may be a good dog trainer - but he manipulates people out of their dogs to make a profit, some people may not care about their animals but if I could have kept my Sadie I would have. I just wanted the best life for her. I love her very much and my heart is heavy not knowing what is happening to my dog. |

iTS ALWAYS THE NAMELESS IDIOTS WHO WRITE BAD SENSELESS COMMENTS ..YOU SEEM TO HAVE TIME TO WRITE CRAP ON THE INTERNET, BUT COULDNT CARE FOR YOUR DOG . ARENT YOU SUPPOSE TO BE WORKING (MISS 2 JOBS) .. IF RICK SELLS A DOG FOR $2000., IT DEFINATELY GOES TO A GOOD HOME YOU IGNORANT @ITCH! HE TOLD YOU TO TAKE IT BACK AFTER YOU WERE MAKING SUCH A FUSS AND YOUR BROKE ASS SAID TO KEEP IT ...REMEMBER ?!! SO SHUT UP OR HIS LAWYERS WILL MAKE YOU FOR SLANDER!!

| If someone has a real experience and wants to warn others about someone that is sketchy in their eyes, they have that right to do so. You threatening them because they did is not right. He offered a dog back to her (at a cost)-she gave him. If it happened to me I would think the same and believe me I would let people know too. Because I would not want anyone else to go through what I did. The truth is not slander, so what you are doing is bully tactics. You are not being any better by bad mouthing someone for their right to free speech, so can she sue you for slander also? These sights are for people to get the word out so others wont have to go through what others already have, if you don't like it don't read it. Tina |
