Juveneu/reliftsxs |
Unauthorised payments taken from my account |
11th of Nov, 2011 by deb2sim |
Placed an order for trial run of juveneu and was advised reliftsxs is the cream to buy to go with it. Orders were received out of 14day cancellation time scale & then I tried to cancel all further orders but nowhere to go to do this!!! No website! No address! No contact number!! How on earth can u cancel future orders if there is no point of contact??? To top this off, today I checked my bank statement only to find the both companies have taken over £200 in the space of 18days!!! I am to say the least...fucked right off! I work hard and save money, with christmas coming I am in no position for this amount to be taken unauthorised out of my account! Please can someone help with a contact number available from the uk so I can contact the scum who are sitting back spending my money! Really maybe they should open a shop cause I'm pretty certain I wouldn't be the only person willing to go in & show exactly what the repercussions would be! |

Their UK number is 020 3514 1398.
The address is PO BOX 13583, Linlithgow, West Lothian, EH49 9AP.
I just had the same experience as you had. I tell you, it's impossible to get your money back, you would just end up with anger. They would say it's not their problem that you receive orders out of 14 days, however if you didn't cancel it within 14 days whatever you received the trial or not, you are still on the auto shipping programme, which means they can keep taking money from your bank. So, you'd better act quickly to call them and cancel any further shipment. Be Careful cos they'll try to sell you more. Don't listen just cancel it. They play games with you in order to keep you on the auto shipping progamme.
Another suggestion (what I am doing now) is go to BBC watchdog (http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog). This is a progamme discover the ture faces of all those bad businesses - how they take money from you and don't delieve the services or products. Tell them your story and they will do investigation and report it on BBC1. This progamme is very worth to watch, you would learn a lot from it. |

I am in Canada and had the same problem - after giving my credit card Visa for the basically "free" trial which I received, then found 2 bills on my next statement for $ 84.71 & $ 89.66 dated 2 weeks apart. I cancelled my credit card immediately. Also same thing happened with Life Cell South Beach Skin Care co. which charged me $ 189.00 for a small tube of LifeCell Anti aging treatment, Well the friggin bill Aged Me Rapidly!
If you have a good credit card co. they told me to return the product - try to contact the company - Juveneu has a 1-866-8811138 tel no. which I doubt they will answer but if you return the product registered mail and keep a receipt - after 15 days you contact the credit Card co. Dispute Division and eventually they will credit you back. They will also try to contact the company involved so there is a chance to receive some monies back (but only if the product is unopened ) Good luck! |

I have just had the same experience. I purchased the items in good faith after seeing this webpage which reported 'as seen on the bbc, guardian' (http://consumerexclusive.co.uk/health/beauty/1/?t202id=3612&t202kw=36-170-612). I thought the photo was obviously photoshopped, but given the BBC was mentioned I thought there may be something in it...and the 'free trial' seemed worth a go.
I've called Juveneu on their UK number ((020) 3514 1398) and after a rather lengthy exchange about not seeing the terms and conditions that they insist were clearly shown when I placed the order, they advised me to check the original website...but when I did while they were on the line, it had gone - there's just a list of contact numbers now. They checked and confirmed there was a technical problem with their website at the moment. After me repeatedly stating that I hadn't seen anything about this in the terms and conditions and that I wanted to cancel my order and receive a full refund, they eventually gave in and have cancelled my order and allegedly I will receive a full refund of the £55.06 within 3-5 business days. I'm not convinced, but we shall see.
I then called Argan, although they only had a US number (001-(866)-881-1391) so that's probably cost me a bit too. Again after a lengthy discussion where they basically tried to wear me down, they agreed that I can keep the product and they will refund £60 of the £74.99 they have charged. That was the best they could do. The alternative was to return the product to Florida...which would take time and would cost. I gave in at this point.
I was wary of this order, but given the BBC credentials, I thought it was safe. Had there been terms and conditions, I would certainly have checked them thoroughly. I normally do unless it's a well-known reputable company.
I can't believe I fell for this. I will now contact my credit card company and request a new card. |

I've just lost a lot of money as well. You don't even have to tick the terms and conditions box now, if you give your debit card details, your name and address, then you are agreeing to them removing money when they want. I felt sick when I looked at my bank statement.
Visa are looking into it but the bank say they can do nothing, it was my fault even though the terms and conditions were on a different web page. I've stopped the debit card but the bank will allow these companies access to my account as the card is linked to the account. I can't even change the number of the account. They were really unhelpful. I signed for two, Relift XS and Juveneu, they were on the same page. When I rang Juvenue I got cut off so I've sent recorded delivery letters and e-mailed Relift XS. They also don't take returns from the day I rang and got through. They've taken payments for 5 products and I've received 3. I've contacted Rip Off Britain.
I can't belive the Law allows these companies to take our money like this and that the customer has no right to stop the payments. We need to change the Law quickly. |

To everyone out there who has had dealings with this vile company that is just here to rip people off, they have no contact number or contact email address that is until i did some digging around. I contacted my banks fraud team and reported them to which they told me they couldnt stop them taking the money but as i have reported them they would reimburse any monies paid out and would claim it back direct from the company so to that end i continued digging info on this company and came across this email address
[email protected]
I emailed them informing them that i have reported them to the fraud team and i would begin legal proceedings against them should they attempt to take any more money from y account to that end i have a few emails with 2 hours apologizing i have cancellation numbers assuring me that they will not attempt to take any money and any money i have paid will be debited back within 7 days in full please everyone email this address and threaten them with legal action i urge you and lets get what is ours back of these modern day thieves
good luck |

You can add a further product to this list. Lift Serum Pro. Same people, same scam. Ordered on the 16th Oct and received on the 6th November with the money removed from my account on the 1st November.
The telephone helpline is unhelpful, they just say that I should have reported it. She made it clear that I didn't think about it because it was only £1.99 postage. I was giving the 28 days that distance sellers have to send items as the guideline. It's clear that this is a scam getting around the rules, but I am sure that their 14 days cancellation from order date cannot be legal. If it is then the 28 days delivery is now redundant and I will expect my goods a lot sooner.
Just contacting my bank right now. |
