I tried justhost.com and registered my Domain name with them. Paid their fees and was billed incorrectly right away. It was a huge hassle to request a refund for the extra charges. The website builder was not user friendly enough for me, so I requested to transfer my hosting to a different host. That was a hassle also, and justhost.com was not helpful at all with the process. After, I finally got it transferred, I got billed incorrectly again and had to go through the refund process a second time. After 60 days, I requested to transfer my Domain registrar. I received an email confirming cancellation and refund fo the final charges for my domain. What I thought was transfer confirmation, was not. They never transferred my domain, they just cancelled my service through them, so when my year was up, I no longer had my domain name. I could not access my website or my emails. This hurt my business in a huge way. I have a non profit organization and I had applied for grants, and could not access my emails. I also had people needing my services and I could not access my emails. I am extrememly unhappy with these people. I called for help, and of course got different information by three different people. I can't believe how terrible this company is, they do whatever they want, when they want. Now I have to pay them more to renew my domain, and again wait to transfer. I wonder what will happen this time. Is there anyway at all I can get away from this company without losing my domain name completely. BEWARE of Just Host-justhost.com. They will milk everything all the time and you will be screwed. I am so angry that this company can get away with doing business this way. It's pathetic! If they can't play fair with the big dogs (in their market), then they should stay on the porch! |
