I also received a call from someone named Chase. He implied that JMP Management was associated with JP Morgan Bank. He started off with a somewhat convincing critique of my resume but then started to get irritated that I wasn't thanking him for his advice concerning my resume. At this point I was becoming suspicious. He started to make even more flamboyant statements concerning how he worked in "Compliance" and that he doesn't work with job candidates who do not have $200K potential. He asked if I was under contract with any recruiters. I just was not taking the bait and he was getting more agitated because after all his bravado, I apparently came across unimpressed. At this point, I was also Googling JPM Mangement. He abrutly hung up on me. Just when I was bringing up some sites indicating this was a Rip-Off scam con artist, the jerk calls me back and says, "so how did that feel", I told him why would I even want to do business with someone like him and oh by the way I pulled up information from the Internet that says he's a scam. His explanation was that JP Morgan had foreclosed on many homeowners and that they post these false claims of his division being a scam as retribution. At this point, I hung up on him. I will be contacting the JP Morgan legal department to let them know what this guy is doing and possibly my state's Attorney General's office. "Chase" stop trying to rip off folks who are struggling in such a bad job market. |
