Joshua Conklin (aka Josh Conklin) of Smartleadz is a SCAMMER! He basically stole $11K from us. He swore up and down that he originated exclusive internet mortgage leads through his own websites with his own banners and ads. He scapped together some bogus clippings and screenshots of google ads, etc and showed us some bogus landing pages.
He then starts the deleivery and it turn out he is passing leads, that he bought semi exclusively, through LMB (lowermybills.com) for a few dollars each and passed them to us.
I had a feeling he was a scam artist so we had put a 24 hour out clause in our contract. We excercised the out clause a few hours into the campaign, a few minutes after LMB confirm that those applicants applied through LMB landing pages and were sold to numerous buyers.
We are now suing him in a court up in Canadiagua, NY as he will not respond to any emails of phone calls.
Our advice... BEWARE of Joshua Conklin, he is the textbook definition of a fly by night scam artist.
Joshua - If you are out there, we challenge you to rebutt this posting. We will follow up with a barrage of infomation backing up our story.... The world should know that you are a SCAM ARTIST!
