When I first me Jon the college kid owner he seemed nice. I paid him upfront for three months. First couple times were fine, then he came in with all these sales tactics, starting charging me for things that I did not need. Then he started missing appointments and my pool was turning yellow. I called him and he said he came by once and my courtyard was locked, mind you it has now been three weeks and he said he wanted a key, I am sorry but I did not trust this guy to give him my house key judging by one of his friends HD brought with him. My maid was always here, but he got lazy. Then after convincing me I needed a part for the pump to make the pool cleaner, I was on my way out the door so I just gave him cash. When the next invoice came I noticed he was billing me again, I asked him why he sais he would check on it. So then he did not show up after that, I called him he did not answer and I get a letter saying he does not want to service the pool anymore. I ask for a refund for the times not show up and he called me a deadbeat and said listen you are a millionaire what do you need 125 for, I said that is not how you should speak to people and he said listen again I have 30 pools I service I do not need your business. I strongly recommend Do not use this college kid it will be a nightmare, go find anybody else who knows how to be professional, shows up on time and is honest. Based on my experience AND being a homeowner in palos verdes. This is the real truth on this guy. |

John is a nice guy. Well groomed with a great pool guy appearance but not a great pool guy. My new service company said he is related to the owners of the pool supply store in lomita and has only been doing pool service for 1 1/2 years. I can't understand why I trusted him with my 90, 000 dollar pool. Pool turned yellow then he tried charging me for chlorine tablets... On the service agreement it states that he supplies all necessary chlorine. I can understand specialty chemicals but I can't understand being billed for something that is part of his responsibility. |
