These guys will tell you whatever they can to get you to sign up. Then when you realize that there ripping you off and want to transfer to another college, they wouldn't even send the transcripts or return any emails, calls etc... They transferred my papers to another college and took me of there class schedule and mailed me a bill saying that I owed them more than it would cost to go to a local college for a semester, just for simply acquiring about another college. The fact is I never told anybody to do anything with my status and they tell me to be able to come back to school (even though I never left in the first place) I would have to stay for two semesters (Quarters is how they charge) which screws your financial aid when trying to transfer schools. This all happened within a few days.
Went from going to school at there one hallway building, with there teachers that will do anything to pass you because they fear for there jobs (they literally gave me the answers to my final exam). To considering going to there online program (which would save me gas) mind you I only was trying to get a price (I would never nor would anybody throw away 5000 in aid) then they said that everything would be fine, that I could transfer with no problems (financially). Then when I talk to the financial advisor (Or the guy that mask everything and tries to get you to hurry up and sign everything) hew tells me that I lost 5000 of my aid for tranfering (when I only was simply seeing if I could transfer I never told anybody to acually transfer me!) and that I would have to pay 1700 extra a quarter. So now I login to get my schedule from my current "so called school" and find out that I don't have one. Now I call the school (ITT TECH LIVERPOOL N.Y.) to find out whats going on and they tell me they transferred me (again I never gave anybody that right! or permission to do so!) Now they relize they messed up so I talk to the director (which took me emailing a letter and forwarding it to the president of there whole company) just to get them to call me back. Then I am told that they can fix this, that I would have to talk to the financial guy. Let me fill you in on this to because he also told me that the transfer could happen with no problems. He was supposed to write up some papers and call me but instead he told me that everything was fine and there would be no problems! Funny part is later when I talk to the director, she tells me that he said he never talked to me! So getting back to this crazy chain of events, He tells me that if I want to come back to school (without messing up my financial aid) that I would have to stay there for two more quarters. Now I wanted to be in school learning, so way would I care accept for that he says that I would have to stay for two quarters to come back to school (remember I never left in the first place they messed up and filed this without my consent!) Anyway now I am like, why? he tries to give me this big story and I am like why are you saying this. so he tries to explain again! He is telling me that technically I lost my funding because I transferred schools, when I never gave anyone are requested to transfer. Now remember this is with in a matter of four days.
I could really get into the fine details here but I would be righting all night. I just want anybody reading this to know that this school is very bad, Besides this particular case I would like to share my observation during my time there, because when someone promises me something, especially when it cost this much I pay attention and make sure I get my moneys worth.
They claim that they use the newest technology, and say within six months.
But there books where over ten years old, they were using windows xp, the ms office they supply you with is 2007 and the book they use for instruction didn,t even comply they had to make there own print outs for fixes to certain sections (and this book was way older than six months.
There excuse was that they use what is being used in industry today. Understandable but there networking program is equivalent to what they teach high school students.
They had teachers that never even taught the subject teaching.
I could go on for awhile but the one thing that was most disturbing to me was when I first enrolled in this school, they did not offer the program that I wanted but had one with similar class so they say. They assign you a rep. as they would call this rep along with a few others told me I could always transfer to another program later. When the time came I realized the way they have there class setup is they are named different so chances of transferring them is slim ti none.
Please, if your reading this do not go to this school. There is nothing but debt involved and the degree is barley recognized anywhere. You want to make ten an hour don,t pay 50,000 thousand to do it!
I believe that I might have a case against these guys I will be talking to some lawyers!
