IT'S HOT WRONG WATCH SENT WITH DYE STAINS ON IT New York, New York |
2nd of Jan, 2012 by User928262 |
I ordered a Men's 2.2 carat JoJo (Joe Rodeo) watch from this company and was very unhappy with what I received. The watch that I received was similar to the watch that I ordered, but it was NOT the correct one. The diamonds in the watch I received were blue, white and gold. The diamonds pictured in the link below are white and gold. In addition, the ticker hand in the picture on the website is red, the ticker hand in the watch I received was gold. The plastic joe rodeo hang tangs that came on the watch were falling apart and glue was visible on them, Lastly the 3 knobs on the side of the watch used to adjust the date and time had blue dye on the top of each of them. Customer Service told me the spots were stickers used to protect the watch during shipping, but its obvious these stickers must of molded to the knobs because they were embedded into the watch and would not come off. The diamonds in the watch had no shine or shimmer at all no matter what type of light it was in front of (daylight, indoor) I immediately contacted customer service and sent them an email highlighting all the issues with the watch. After a day or so passed with not hearing anything back, I called and spoke with a salesman (Brian). He recommended letting them send me another watch with a different band and perhaps that would allow the diamonds to shimmer better. I told him my concern was that not only did I receive the WRONG Watch, but also it contained blue dye spots and the diamonds were poor quality. Brian tried to talk me into letting them send me the "correct watch" or obtaining store credit and checking out some of the other watches on their website before I decided to ask for a refund. He also told me that it should not be a problem for me to get a FULL refund if I decided not to consider any other options. I did not want to take the chance of receiving another watch with the same qaulity even if it was the "correct" watch that I ordered the second time around and for that reason I would like a full refund. Brian said he understood and I told him I would be sending the watch back and I did the next day accompanied by a follow up email to customer service letting them know I was returning the watch. So today I called to make sure they received the watch and that my refund was being proccessed and I was told they thought I was going to do store credit and choose another watch. I told them no that was incorrect and I wanted a refund. The customer service agent then told me she worked in the returns department and there was nothing wrong with the watch they orginally sent me. She said you can either have a refund minus a 15% restocking fee or you can take a store credit. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said no one was available and then let me speak with Brian (the salesman I spoke with the previous week). He tried to tell me he never said he told me I would get a full refund and that the watch they sent was the correct one (Completely different that what he said last week). After arguing with him almost 10 minutes I told him to process my refund with the 15% restocking fee. What a RIPOFF. I received a watch that I did not order with stains and diamonds that had no shine or anything. Then when I wanted to return it I was argued with and now I will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Not to mention that I had to pay the return shipping to send the watch back. The picture of the watch on itshot.com lists ( ) lists a different number on the back (JJM S20W) than the watch I received (JJM4). What a horrible experience. |
