Int'l Masters Publishers, Inc. Windows to the World Company uses bait & switch tactics, Internet |

John, You have sent me another notice for payment. Hell will freeze over before I pay you another dime. You lied to me, you promised a book that is less than 50% complete and I've been told that there are no more pages to be sent. I'll gladly give you my Grandson's name so you can explain to him why there are only 17 states in the U.S., and why half the countries and cities of the world no longer exist. I sent this to you ( below) and have yet to get any satisfaction. Do you people care about your customers? Tom To: 'IMP Customer service' Subject: RE: [Contact Us] Windows to the World John, Thank you, for someone at your company finally getting back to me. I expected Judith King to call or write, but I guess she is too busy screwing other customers to bother with trying to satisfy just one of them. I am one angry, unsatisfied customer. If you are really in Customer Service then you ought to be concerned about me because I can and will become your worst nightmare. I made the mistake of reading your Windows to the World marketing brochures. As an amateur cartographer I have traveled the world and been to many of the places that your Windows book purported to cover. I was excited about putting such a book together and looked forward to building the book for my Grandson, so he could share my zeal for maps and places. Your Windows to the World book seemed the perfect way to do this. Even though it would be expensive (buying parts of the book in pieces) I decided the cost and effort was worth it. Over the last six months you sent me 18 articles ( your name for the packets) and I spent the time lovingly organizing them and putting the book together. I was about to fill the first book realizing I'd need to have you send me a second binder to continue, when another binder arrived on my doorstep. I was pleased and started expanding the set, again looking forward to the wonderful gift I would be giving my Grandson. Then I received your most recent packet and billing ( which I have NOT Paid) and saw that Judith King said this was the completed Windows to the World collection. Imagine my surprise! I had received only 16 States in America. I was pretty sure that there are 50 States in America! I actually live in Illinois and I thought that it too was one of the 50 States. I thought I was a citizen of the United States of America. I'm afraid to tell my wife that we are not in the U.S. anymore. I was dumbfounded. Initially I just thought the cover letter was in error. But then when I made a call your customer service people ( which took forever to actually talk to someone) a Gwen told me that the book set was complete.A COMPLETE SET, I said, that can't be because more than half of the page inserts were still missing! ( See a summary of all that are missing attached above) And the dividers say there are all sorts of additional pages coming. I keep everything and as I looked through all your Windows to World marketing and ordering information, not once did I see that this book will not be a full set of world countries, cities and places. It never once said we only have a limited number of these documents, so the set will not be a complete set, even though we will send you the dividers and guides to suggest that all these documents exist. It never once said that we will only sell you less than 3/8th of a full set. It never once said that we will number these documents from #1 to XXX in each category, even though we have no intention of selling some of them to you? It never said we are lying when we offer a Windows to the World book series but only intend to send about 3/8th of the insert pages. That is fraud! What you did say was, IMP was offering a beautiful set of color documents about the countries of the world, its cities and fascinating places. You even sent a complete list of dividers that show what insert pages would be included. There was no disclaimer that Judith was lying to me and all of your marketing list. I now have 3/8th of a set that is more incomplete than it is complete. It was meant as a gift for my Grandson ( have any children or grandchildren Judith?????). I told him all about this fascinating book of geography that I was building for him, how it would be useful in school work and how it would teach him about the world. I'm embarrassed to give the incomplete set to him because there are not only 16 States in the United States. Even he knows that. ( I guess Judith doesn't know that!) The same is true with Europe, Asia and Africa. Maybe Judith can explain how I should address the fact that those countries do not exist anymore??? John, I want you to do me a favor. I want you to march up to Judith's office or whatever rock she hides under. I want you to advise her that I want my money back, all of it, which is $111.70. I have been lied to and promised something that Judith had no intention of producing. With the documents that I did receive, are these her favorite places? Should the binders be named Judith's Favorite Places, rather than Windows to the World? I want my money back because this is one very unsatisfied customer. Send me your pre-paid shipping number and I'll send your Partial Window to less than 3/8th World book back to you. I certainly cannot give it as a gift and I won't keep it because I actually know the world is much larger than Judith would suggest it is. Maybe she knew Christopher Columbus??? Short of receiving a full $111.70 refund, I will become your worst nightmare. I too am in public relations and have access to all sorts of lists, newspapers and media companies. I will tell the world ( the whole world, not just 3/8th of it) of your company's fraudulent marketing efforts. I suspect that you do the same thing with all the other books you market online so it will be my duty to warn people of your fraudulent company. I'm prepared to file with all the Better Business Bureau's ( I have the list) and my State of Illinois ( yes, we are a State) Attorney General and their fraud division. Then I will start a letter writing campaign starting with your local paper, so all your employees can see what a liar Judith is. She is jeapordizing yours and their employment with this kind of fraudulent activity. No matter the cost, I see this as a public service to end this bait and switch marketing tactic. Eventually you and your fellow employees will all be out of a job. Next, I will do a YouTube video of me burning the book ( except for the many missing pages) and explaining why everyone should steer clear of empty promises from IMP, Inc. I'll send followup letters to every major and not so major newspaper with a Letter to the Editor explaining what your company doesn't do and how you fraudulently prey on customers. I will then create a website that will tell the world about your lying and cheating of customers. I am so angry I'll pay to get enough SEO exposure to be on the same internet page your company is on and anyone seeing you will see your lies. Is it fair that all your employees in Montoursville has to suffer because you use fraudulent advertising and deception to sell expensive books that you have no intention of completing? If you think I am blowing smoke, go ahead and make the mistake of not sending me the money I paid to you? Also remember to send me your UPS or Fed Ex number and I'll gladly return your 3/8th of the World book John, I expect you to show this e-mail to Ms. Judith King.( or what ever person is really running this fraudulent business. Your company needs to be held accountable! Have a good day and I expect to receive a reply. If I hear from no one by Friday April 5th, my campaign starts. |
