The pick up was finally arranged and I called the day before to confirm. Everything seemed to be okay. Called the next day (as I was instructed) about 2 hrs. prior to pick up time. Left 3 messages within the span of 1 hr. No one called back until after my 3rd message. Finally I got a return call and the elderly gentleman was apparently shuffling through his notes and proceeds to tell me that no one was coming and that there was a communication problem. I told him several times that I was driving from Maryland to Mt.Laurel, NJ specifically for this furniture pick up. I repeated that after he told me that there was a "communication problem." Then he indicated he would see what he could do and call me back. He never did and I ended up having to deal with this a different way.

This entire situation was quite upsetting. I am in the process of selling my parents home and was trying to donate their furniture to a Jewish charity. They both passed during the last 5 years and I was trying to do a good deed.

After I made other arrangements, I called the donate my furniture number back (about 5 hrs. later) and the man says something about getting someone to come in an hr. This whole experience was awful and the gentleman handled this extremely poorly. I have been unable to find an email, phone number or anything that I can use to contact someone other than that man.

I would not recommend this charity to anybody ever.
