iFriends.net WebPower inc. Unwarranted charging for services supposedly |

I signed up for ifriends.net and selected the VIP status as they offered a one month trial completely free. One of the advantages of the VIP status, they say, is so that their customers can actually view a model's live cam before you decide to enter into a private session. This service is called "Voyeur View". I used this "Voyeur View" on several occasions and was under the assumption that I would not be charged for doing so. You would think that after using "Voyeur View" you would be given an option to actually enter into an agreed live session with the model in the room. But no. Now I know why it did not exist, it is because you are charged from the moment you clicked on this function. $117 dollars deducted from my bank account later, it has become completely apparent that "Voyeur View" is not free and is treated as you agreeing to pay the model the per minute fee, just to look. One model in particular began talking to me and I stayed a bit longer in "Voyeur View". I searched the screen for the option to enter into a paid private session with the model, but it was not there. This is when I realised that you are charged for a private session without you having to do anything, after clicking "Voyeur View". So 7 minutes later into the conversation, the webcam was abruptly shut off from the performer's end and I was faced with a blank screen where the model should have been. I left the chat. I expected to be charged for that chat, but could not find any information on the ifriends site of any pending charges, other than who I had viewed in my "Recent Videochats" list. After querying the amount charged to my account, I was emailed with a detailed list of all the "performers" I had sessions with by the ifriends customer service. Several performers were there as having chats with me for 4 minutes. When in actual fact i used "Voyeur View" to briefly look at these cams, then leave. And the 7 minute chat I said I had, that was abruptly cut off from? Ifriends have charged me for ten minutes. How do I know it was only 7 minutes? Because I recorded it (shhhhh) So not only have I been overcharged for a private chat, I have also been charged (and overcharged) for a preview service which is supposedly free. How terribly misleading and dishonest of them to do so. |

I verified this after suspecting it myself after the last few charges... my last series of privates let my mind boggled as to how the charges came to so much when doing the math with the time and per minute price... it seemed very apparent that they were either lying about the chat prices or the time I was in the room. I started to make sure I was explicitly using their "Exit Chat" button before closing my browser just to be sure but it still seemed way to high. I just did a test today and counted exactly 5 minutes with a $3.00 model and checked my online statement to find a $27.00 charge from that session. It seems very clear to me that this site lies about their charges |
