IE INNOVATION AT&T U-VERSE IE INNOVATION IS SHADY Atlanta, Georgia |

Let me tell you about IE INNOVATIONS. This is mainly for those going on interview or have been called for one. Look IE INNOVATIONS is a front company for AT&T U-Verse lets get right to it, it is a Direct Sales, Outside Sales company that follows a template that most careerbuilder.com Sales and Marketing jobs Follow. When I was called in for an interview I was already aware of the Smokes & Mirrors, my goal was to real scout the company learn their tactics and implement in a legitimate business model where others wouldn't be beating the pavement selling AT&T Uverse. So as I said I was aware of everything first off (1) Beware of any company that says SPORTS MINDED or uses capital letters to advertise their name..thats a no brainier, they also claim to have partnered with Fortune 500 companies...which is true...but complicated (2) When they call you it is very cheesy and corny the girl Noel sounds like a high pitched robot reading from a thoroughly memorized script, she says we are looking for managers and account reps, my response since I was in essence a spy was "I have managed successful businesses and I have a track record of success, I won't be walking door to door will I?" Thats when they choke up, they are used to people applying and accepting the BS that they hand them so when someone has a TRUE CEO mindset and has payed dues in a legitimate business atmosphere they are shocked!! (3) When you come in to this Business establishment the Office furniture is on lease by Aaron's to be perfectly honest it was scratched, bruised, and neglected. They have this corny WOW music pumping in the background and it is really unprofessional..I'm just in there shaking my head..thinking this is crazy! (4) After you enter the Office and fill out an app you are taken into an interview with a Manager with business gear straight out of Goodwill and Marshall's (Which is fine but..come on This is Fortune 500 partner right!!) So as I am in the interview, the manager is obviously not seasoned and kind of unprofessional. He asks questions from a SCRIPT verbatim he has no charisma and is not really convincing. He asks me about personal goals and objectives that are so cliche' that it sounds like a Stephen Covey excerpt. At the end he schedules me with a follow up interview with a HEAVY HITTER whatever that mean. (5) I show up to the follow interview the next day, I already knowing that I would be shadowing a GRINDER going Door to Door. So they match me up with this guy who is a world class lame named Malachi. I hate to call people out but these guys trick college grads and true grinders who are looking for a career. So Malachi asks me all types of bogus questions that are from a personal development script like Do I love winning, or hate losing like who says stuff like that. He shows me how to waste Gas and commute to the boonies and knock on people's door who are renters and working class people. We eat lunch and he goes over the Business and compensation plan, and again I'm shaking my head, you work your way up this unrealistic latter to become a Office Manager. So I asked him Can't I just do this myself and partner and negotiate a deal with AT&T on my own strength, get a office, rent furniture, and post bogus ad's on careerbuilder? his response was We have to do it this way...So I took that response as this guy has been drinking the Kool-Aid. (6) So after this shadowing in the field, we go back to the office and they are doing all type of un-cool stuff asking me questions about my next step, they set me aside while they make their descion to hire me. So I talked to the guy interviewed with and he goes this proverbial drum roll of BS, and says WELCOME TO THE TEAM. He was ecstatic and wanted me to be chippy like he was.....I was just shaking my head and left the office and never looked back. (CONCLUSION) Adopt the CEO mentality and don't fall into someone rat-race or business model. Nowadays people stop looking for jobs and they start producing them, you don't have to Come of Age to be a CEO..just go and fill out LLC and INC paperwork. I'm not knocking their hustle but when I ask you direct questions give me direct answers, don't' be Shady tell the truth. People hate being taking for ride and tricked, it wouldn't be a problem if they were honest but they just front. Sorry I was on the fly writing this grammar is bad and spelling..But you get my drift...Be a CEO !!!!

wow, I interviewed with them and had the exact opposite experience. They were professional and up front with all the Pros and Cons from start to finish. I didn't accept the position, but I could very easily see how it could be lucrative with hard work. |
|
|
@Jcole I'm glad they did but the honest truth is they don't tell most people. It is very lucrative but the issue is structure. If you are business minded you can do the same, hell it's more lucrative to own a business rather than beating the pavement in 95degree whether thats just me! WORK HARD FOR SELF, NOT FOR SOMEONE ELSE!! |

They called me over the phone(I posted my resume on careerbuilder) and had spoken of becoming a 'Customer Service Rep' for AT&T. I think I only focused on those 3 words... Customer Service & AT&T... So I accepted the interview. I did my research on the company(To pretty much try to 'Ace' this interview) and just found this post! First post Ive heard/seen that referred IE Innovations as a scam. NICE TA KNOW!! I go into this interview in an hour. Im prepared to pass this interview BUT ALSO weed out the scam. Ive had many years in the business field and am disappointed that the jobs have come to constant spam and ''Pyramids". I will definitely be coming back to this site and commenting my experience. I wasnt planning on staying with the company long(Summer trip). So this wouldnt hurt me at all if it was a scam lol... |

I ended up NOT going to the interview because of this post lol... Didnt want to waste time/gas on a scam... THANKS!! |

@Hjohn300 you should never take someones "word" as fact- you should test the water yourself.. |

The guy who replied to Hjohn300 is a #IEINNOVATIONS Rep..lol..They are the only guys who would defend this johnny come lately business. Look dont drink the Kool-Aid in the business world good business deals arent presented in the package described in the post. I dare someone to make-up a fake resume and submit it to #IEINNOVATIONS I bet someone will call by the end of the day, it's a numbers game the more dopes who interview and take the position and grind the longer they stay open, barely getting by. If you get a call back from #IEINNOVATIONS it doesn't make you special and as CAREER SEEKERS you want someone SPECIAL to recognize how SPECIAL you are, it is dis-heartning to go in a group interview and you are interviewing with High School Drop-outs when you have a friggin MASTERS! I know its a Sales position but the best Sales-men are on Wall Street and they just dont hire ANYBODY their candidates are from Wharton, Harvord, Penn, ...etc..Shoot if you get an interview on Walll Street you have accomplished more than most have by that point. But an interview with #IEINNOVATIONS is not special, they dont scroll down and look at your XP they just see NAME/NUMBER/&CALL. So don't waste your time any post on CAREER BUILDER that says NO-XP REQUIRED, CAREER ROOKIE, or has capitol letters and EXCLAMATIONS IS A SCAM!!! Real professional job postings are more polished, besides look at their website it is a TEMPLATE, it is not personal and doesnt have pictures of real people. AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THE #IEINNOVATIONS #SCAM |
