Ordered this service back in February and after two months of service and realizing i already had free credit monitoring service through my Captiol One credit card account I called Identity Guard to cancel the service, 4 days after my account was already paid for. The Rep, who I could not understand because of his strong accent suggested i call back the following month before the next billing statement to cancel and to use my service for this month since its already been charged and the reason for this was because once the account have been canceled i can not get back in and review my report. (why not, I just paid for it right)- well, I told him ok that i will utilize their service for a few more weeks. A few more weeks came around and i called to cancel the service 3 days before my account was going to be deducted for the service fee. It sounds to me everything was situated, a week later I checked my back account and i see a charge of $14.95 for "identity guard", i automatically called them and the Rep says, "i see the account is still active and have not been canceled, i also see in here that you had emailed us and requested us to cancel this service, but unfortanately we can not handle that through email."I told the rep- I have a copy here in my hand that reads, "we cannot answer any questions related to billing issues, changing mailing address, canceling service or activating your online account. So tell me after reading this why would I email you to cancel this service? I called and canceled on the 11th and it needs to be canceled!" The rep gave me a confirmation code and says I will be refunded the $14.95 within 7-10 business days- until then i wait and see if I get a refund!
