The truth is that take advantage of the investigators and work you like a slave for hardly any money, give you 8, 16 min- to write and put together a report that can take several hours! Don't pay for the first and last hour of travel and give you a big 7.50 an hour after that for travel?? They don't itemize anything on your pay such as expenses even though it goes into the computer that way? They lump it together so they can rip you off even more! If you lose or break there phone they will charge you 449.00 dollars to replace it??? That's what insurance is for and that crappy phone doesn't cost that much anyway.

You have to buy all of your own equipment, use your own car, risk of getting tickets, accidents etc... if you get stuck in traffic it's on you. In reality with all the time you put in and money you have to spend it's just not worth it, when you crunch all the #'s you'll only be getting half of your hourly rate anyway which is what they start you out with for the first 30 days probably because so many people leave in the first month. If your on the fence don't do it you will be sorry!!
