ICON security should be re-named "ISUC" security. Their system is unreliable. Our alarm has gone off so many times that it wasn't suppose to I'm now deaf. It went off yesterday and we were all just sitting around. I tried to use my remote and that was dead and wouldn't work. My kids are terrified and live in fear of the alarm. We have been on vacation and it's gone off several times. They guarantee our cat's can not trigger it but guess what... THEY ARE WRONG. They came to reset the sensor but it still goes off randomly. They can't figure it out. It's their system, they should be able to figure out what's wrong with it. As far as customer service there aren't many worse out there. I'm trying to cancel my contract and they inform me we have to mail them a letter and then our service will stop 30 days later. We called them 2 months ago to cancel but our 3 years wasn't up. Of course they never said we had to give a notice or we would have called a month before the end of our contract. They are trying to get another payment from us and they said if we didn't pay it they would send us to collections. What a crock. We told them 2 months ago we wanted to cancel. that should legally be good enough. Their attitude on the phone seemed angry to me. Once he found out I didn't want ISUC's service any longer I became his enemy. I paid this company for 3 years and fulfilled my contract with them and this is the way they treat me??? SERIOUSLY!!! Get a grip and take a class on customer service. I highly recommend you not use this system. It is low class and full of problems. Use another professional company.
