Save your money and your sanity. Do not buy a custom boat cover from iboats.com. We are still trying to get our $600 back for a "custom cover" that was 2 feet too short and came out of the box with bird poop on it. Here's our story. Ordered a cover online to fit our 17' Boston Whaler using iboat's pre-fabbed boxes (we checked 17' Boston Whaler and gave the year.) The cover arrived quickly. Problem is that it was 2' too short. Iboats told us to send them photos showing the cover on the boat before they'd accept the return. We did. Then they argued from the photos that our outboards were preventing the cover from fitting. Mind you, the motors do not interfere with the cover's length. Even w/o motors the cover would be 2' too short. (Note to iboats: most boats come with motors.) Graciously, iboats nonetheless gave us 2 options. Either they'd send us extra material to sew onto the cover (seriously, they offered this), or they'd accept our return for a $30 "restocking" fee. With some negotiation they eventually agreed to eat the restocking fee. I returned it. Postage cost me $30. Yesterday, a week or so after we mailed it back for our credit, iboats sends me an email. They are refusing to credit us b/c of the bird poop. The poop that came with the cover. So, while I wait for the cover to arrive so I can scrub off the poop and then spend another $30 to mail it back AGAIN for a credit (hopefully), I thought I'd try to save someone else from buying a great, big, fat headache. Do yourself a favor. Find a local cover-maker who knows how to measure a boat and STAY AWAY FROM IBOATS. They have the worst quality boat covers and customer service I've experienced anywhere.
