I purchased a back sliding glass door, the one that has the blinds between the glass. I hade the door in installed and notice after that there was a blind in the bottom that was broken and the blinds didnt correctly open or close. I called Jeld Wen about the problem and It took over 2 weeks to call me back. The company sent a Representative over my house to check out the problem just to tell me the blinds and glass needs to replaced. A week later another Representative calls me back and tells me it would take a week to send someone down to my house to fix the problem. The service tech comes to my house and looks at my window and says the company ordered the wrong part and to call the back. I called the company and left 3 messages and for about a week no one called me back. A week later I called and ask to speak to the manager. April is the manager for the department, very poor customer service skills. I told her whats been going on and feel that Im not getting the customer care thats needed. She told me she would send another tech to my house in 2 weeks and I told her Im having a house warming party and would like this done before. She really didnt care for my needs and to make this worse is that when the Tech did come to my house 2 weeks later to fix the problem they left parts lose. I called the company and they really didnt care in what I was telling them. I ask the manager April about compensation and she did tell me she would be able to work something out after the job is complete. After the job was complete I left her 2 messages and didnt hear from her in days. I got in contact with the company and April told me they are not going to do nothing anymore in means of compensation. BIG LIARS that company is nothing but BS, I would never buy a Jeld Wen product again. It took about 2 months just for a blind to be fixed. I DO NOT RECOMMED JELD WEN PRODUCTS!! |
