I-90 RV Installed incorrectly air bags on truck for $750, removed and did not reimburse for amount Moses Lake, Washington |

Beginning at the end of August 2012, I ordered air bags to be installed on our truck. To order I was told to put down $700, which I did as a credit card over the phone. On the day of the install, the mechanic was over booked and wanted me to leave the truck, I came from another town and didn't have a ride so I suggested I take the parts with me to have our local mechanic put them on. I was then told it would be done ASAP. Four hours later it was completed. The mechanic/owner yelled at me about being over-booked, that his wife didn't have the computer schedule fixed correctly, and that she had ordered the wrong kit for my truck and he had to remove all of my hitch equipment to fit it on. He charged additional money of $42 and yelled at me for not buying a more expensive tricked out kit. Within the first week of use, the airbags tilted at a 45 degree angle and began rubbing on the exhaust pipe. Our local mechanics told us it was the wrong kit, never should've been installed it was causing damage to the truck and the hitch. My husband returned to the business to have the unit removed, the owner blamed one of his workers for never tightening the bolts on the unit that held the airbag system to the truck. Two hours later it was sent back with my husband only to have it slip out of place again. My husband was told he would get reimbursed for the faulty unit and receive 40% off on the correct unit. Airless units were installed, no reimbursement given and the airless units were put on in such a way as they do not work at all for the truck springs. We never received any paperwork for the airless units either. Also, there is damage to the hitch which was pulled/subducted under the bed of the truck and clamps on the springs are tilted/bent. Every time my husband or I call to talk to the mechanic or the other owner his wife, we are told they are not there, not available, the person who doesn't identify themselves doesn't give a name only that they are there to answer phones. It is now December, looks like I'll be out $800 not including wasted time and without a unit that works for my truck. I'm left with empty pockets and damage to my vehicle. I recommend any prospective consumer stay away from this business for any service or product, they say everything is guaranteed, but the mechanic is their one and only that screwed up my truck and charged a premium for a non working unit.
