After closing MC accnt, a small charge was made vis HSN. Merchandise was sent back and I was told "credit" would be issued. Charge kept showing up on statements and thus HSBC refused to cancell card. Dispute carried on for 2 mos. and I couldn't figure why the charge remained+now appearing interest charges. Contacted HSBC many times trying to solve prob. Contacted "Comptroller of Currency" & asked for help with matter. Was assured by them that HSBC would credit amount and end their business w/me. (never happened) After realizing HSN failed to write me a credit, I paid the bill of $30.90 to HSBC. They didn't post it or acknowledge their willingness to credit "anything" but instead continued to attach 30% late fees on a disputed bill. They continue to bill me every month - latest bill , interest only is $57.00. I have spoken with many people there, even someone working out of the president's office, supposidely. Their only interest is in "finance" charges, besides, how dare I leave them for someone else! It has come to harrassment now. This company is incredible, not in a customer worthy way.
