Shurbet is being held in the Chaffee County Detention Facility in lieu of $500,000 bail.
Shurbet was first arrested July 26 on charges of first-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault and domestic violence.
He appeared July 30 before 11th Judicial District Judge David Thorsen and was subsequently released on $100,000 bond. The
stalking charges stem from a tracking device Shurbet allegedly had
installed on a truck owned by the victim in the kidnapping, assault and
domestic violence charges.
