Hired Scott to do a move for us. He promised 3 guys and a 26 foot truck just like how his website says. Instead got 2 guys, a 20 foot truck and a move that was incomplete. Worked with the guy for a MONTH to try and get my move done and he just flaked and made excuse after excuse. Even tried to tell my husband that he never said certain things but I have the emails to prove otherwise. Thinks he can bully people. If you want the job to take 9 hours and only get done half way then you found the right company. Look up the name Scott Tassone on here and you will see how many different addresses, phone numbers and emails he uses. He has complaint after complaint against him. I am not going to play a victim though. Instead, I am going to track Scott down and sue. If he thinks he is going to ride off into the sunset with my hard earned money after all he put me through he is wrong. Waiting to see his rebutal where he will use a DIFFERENT email address and phone number like he did for the rebutal to this perspn's complaint: http://www.ripoffreport.com/moving-companies/scott-tassone-three/scott-tassone-three-guys-and-f63f5.htm Would love for Scott to man up and tell people his real address but I know he won't since that means the people he scammed could actually find him. What a pathetic excuse for a human being. I really do hope he gets what he deserves, which would be a one way ticket to jail! |

I wished I researched Scott Michael Tassone (aka Scott the Mover) before I hired his moving company. Unfortunately, his movers damaged nearly all my furniture from transporting furniture with no wrap or pads. Afterwards, Scott appeared surprised claiming he has never had any unsatisfied customers before and offered to send specialists to repair the furniture. Scott repeatedly failed to fulfill all his promises and offers, and I was met with excuse-after-excuse citing business and family reasons.
Despite Scott's claims to be licensed and insured, even claiming insurance is 60 cents per pound, I soon realized these claims were false and contacted the California Public Utilities Commission. At the time, Scott MIchael Tassone's company was called 3 Big Dogs Moving and CPUC shut them down. They even posted a public notice that he received a cease and desist order at (#14 on the list):

Scott does use false addresses, but I ultimately discovered his real address and sued him in Small Claims Court this year and won. I would have preferred to avoid using the court system, but unfortunately Scott forced my hand with the broken promises, excuses, blatant lying and running an unlawful business. |
