Highland Management Group Lexington Apartments and Townhomes Hazardous condition resulting in serious injury, Internet
7th of Apr, 2013 by User267836
Regarding a fall last September 1st from a drop-off from my first floor patio that resulted in serious injuries, the decision from the liability insurer for Highland Mgmt that owns the Lexington Apartments-Townhomes is, as I should have expected, in favor of Highland. Even though several others have also fallen from this embankment, it is OK that a KNOWN hazard is allowed to exist that has been very costly for me financially and has left me with a permanent partial loss of function of my right hand and in constant pain. I am not even being reimbursed for out-of pocket medical expenses. However, it was perfectly OK to send me a letter of lease renewal addressed to "valued resident" with a rent increase. I answered by submitting a letter of intent to vacate and can't wait to get out of here. And that is how Highland Management "values" a 4 year tenant.
