We purchased a defective bike at the shop. There were problems with the gears on the trainer in the store before we even left the store. We have been back six times in person to resolve the issue. They were rude and unprofessional. Joe, the owner/manager actually hung up on us on the telephone twice when we called to say enough was enough we are returning the bike! Despite paying CASH in the tune of $1,600 in this store and driving back and forth over 600 miles in an attempt to resolve the issue we have a bike that does not shift properly have been treated horribly by this shop who REFUSES TO REPAIR, REPLACE OR REFUND THEIR PRODUCT!!!! We have had the bike inspected by an independent specialist and have video which confirms the bike is defective and the inoperable condition is unrelated to our ability to pedal or shift a bike as the store owner claims. Can you imagine evening blaming a customer for your defective product? Saying, you do not know how to pedal a bike? Really?!!!! What kind of a professional does that????? Instead of working with us to resolved the issue the owner was rude and condescending insulting our intelligence and basic cycling ability claiming that we didnt know how to shift or pedal a bike. Who blames a customer? These people are not professionals and do not warranty their product! His refusal to warranty, repair or return the bike! Joe, the owners, verbal strong arm tactics are so horrific they are literally unimaginable! We cannot even comprehend an owner or manager who would refuse to service, replace or refund and to be so rude to hang up on them. Who hangs us on their customer? Who allows a customer to return 6 and 7 times and does not resolve the issue or defect it out and exchange the product? Who refuses to put their refusal in writing? We asked for his guarantee in writing he refused to provide it. We asked for a letter in writing stating he refused to return the bike and he hung up the phone on us. Professionals in the worst retail settings provide outstanding customer service so we are very alarmed at the insulting and abusive customer service we have received at this store. We paid in good faith for a working product and received defective bike that this store refuses to repair, replace or refund within the first 14 days of a sale. THEY ARE A scam AND THE ABUSIVE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE CAN NOT BE EXPLAINED OR EXCUSED !!!!!!! RIDE THE OTHER DIRECTION AWAY FROM THIS SHOP AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!!! |
