Higen Technology Solution Ankit K. Shukla Total Riffoff Scam Borivali West, Nationwide
10th of Jan, 2011 by User790636
I would like to report the total scam we experienced fromHigen Technology Solution operated primarily by Hardik J. Desai and Ankit K. Shukla.

About two months ago, we decided to look for Website Developer who can make a commercial website based on our preferred specification. This project of oursis being supervised by our managing partner who named Silfer. The primary purpose of the site is to serve as venue where buyer and seller of homework solutions meet.

Sometime between November 3 and 4, 2010, Silfer found Higen Technology Solution over the internet ( and ). Silfer asked for a quotation and a certain Ankit Shukla, who introduced himself as one of the partner's of Higen Tech Solution, replied on November 5 with such. After several days of communication with Ankit on how everything should work and sending them a detailed master plan, they both agreed that the website development will cost initially $1,250. They sent us with their Website Costing Plan (please refer to Figure 1).

On November 15, 2010, through Silfer, we expressed that we decided to make some modification on the original plan. We decided to change our commission rate and they charged us with $50 for this (please refer to Figure 2). I found it ridiculous why should we charge with such amount when the payment system should be added at the beginning of the last 6 days of the development. Silfer gave in to their demands anyway because of trust that they will perform the work well. On the same instance, we extend our need to add Google Checkout as additional medium of payment in our website and they charged us with $150 for this. Recently, Ankit is lying in one of his emails he sent to me saying that he never taken any amount for Google Talk (actually, I believe that what he meant is Google Checkout) (please refer to Figure 3). We proved him lying.

The original delivery date of the website was before January. On November 30, 2010, Silfer asked Ankit if they can deliver the website on December 24, 2010. Ankit confirmed that they can deliver it on the said date (please refer to Figure 4).

On December 5, 2010, our website content's (future) contributor wanted the site on December 15, so Silfer asked Ankit if it is possible. In our behalf, Silfer offered to add $150 in order to hasten the development process. Ankit asked for $250. Our partners agreed to pay such amount only speed up the process of website development (please refer to Figure 5).

On December 12, 2010, Ankit sent Silfer a link what we believe a preview of the site that Silfer may present the site to us. Ankit said that the wordings contained there are mere demo texts and he also confirmed on that date that they are on the last move of the project (please refer to Figure 6).

December 15, 2010 PASSED AND WE DID NOT RECEIVE THE WEBSITEnot even a single note to update or explain what is happening. But, we still reconsider with high hopes.

On December 17, 2010, one of our partners suggested to change the database preference. Ankit said that it will take much time to do that and that we should have said it at the start of the project. AFTER 1 DAY, Silfer decided on his own to rule out one of our partner's suggestion to avoid delay (please see Figure 7). I need to add this information because Ankit is saying that this caused the delay when in fact, this issued was settle in just a day and they are the ones who are already in delay for 2 days since December 15, 2010.

Figure#7

<img org_src="http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/681/figure7.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by src="http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/681/figure7.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us"/>

On December 21, Ankit sent Silfer another link and that is supposed to be the site. He said that the only missing there is the Paypal Payment system. Silfer sent us the link and in to our surprise. It is the same site that they sent us December 12, 2010!! That was when we realized we've been screwed up. The detail about the site will be tackled in the succeeding paragraphs.

On December 22, I ordered Silfer to tell them to stop their work because the site is not working and it is not in accordance to our specification and I doubt their capacity to do it. Thus we, demand for refund.

Ankit refused to give refund because he said that they already done the work. He even said on December 28 that there is a problem with GoDaddy to upload the website. Silfer asked him what's wrong with GoDaddy so he can send ticket to GoDaddy's support team. He also asked Ankit to upload the website to Ankit's server so Silfer may present the site to us (please refer to Figure 8). But he did not say what was wrong. He even did not upload the site to their server so we may see.

Figure#8

<img org_src="http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/5930/figure8.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by src="http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/5930/figure8.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us"/>

Notice that Silfer was so eager to still negotiate despite our decision to request for refund. Why? It's because Silfer is just a mere student and he was hoping for what he may benefit when the website is operating will help him finance his studies. Because of him, we try to give Ankit and his company consideration until recently when Silfer himself find something that fully convinced him that Ankit and company is not really capable doing what we required and finally gave up his hope that the website can really be done. The information will be laid down in the succeeding paragraphs.

Ankit is insisting that the website is done and is functioning. Is it really functioning? To all consumers reading this, judge it yourself by reading the succeeding paragraphs but before that didn't you notice anything in the Figure 8? Ankit seems to be crafting elaborate lies that he might use as defense later on. Notice what he said that he is trying to contact Silfer since December 20 but what did he said after a line? I got ur message on 24thDec!!!! Fancy that! We said before that they are already in delay. Now, he was trying to make it appear as if it is Silfer's fault why the delivery of the project is delayed. Because of the Silfer does not have headset, he was even making Silfer's incapacity to contact him via voice message an excuse! I wonder; what's the difference. Will it repair their defective site should Silfer bought headset and talk to them instead of just chatting through instant messaging? That's ridiculous.

The thing that finally convinced Silfer that the site cannot really be done is shown in Figure 9. Figure 9 shows that they are struggling to have code for the Paypal. (By the way, theHardikshown in the Figure 9 is a partner of Ankit as proved by Figure 10). Notice in Figure 11 that as of January 5, they said there is still a problem with Paypal being linked. Obviously, it is a mere excuse. While admitting that the Paypal is not linked yet, they have the guts to say that the website is DONE and FUNCTIONING. In addition, did you see the discrepancies in his statements? He said that Silfer did not reply regarding GoDaddy issue when in fact it is him that did not replied at all (Please check back Figure 8 above).

I honestly I have no doubt that it is done. Actually, POORLY DONE! Now, it is really functioning? Let's explore the site.

Foremost, just a reiteration on how we would like the website should be. As already mentioned earlier, the primary purpose of the site is to serve as venue where buyers and sellers of homework solutions meet. Let see if they were able to meet the goal.

Here's the URL: . I hope it is still working when you visit the site but as precautionary measure in case something happened to the site I took some videos of the site. I will upload it in case anything happens with the site.

Let's go to the homepage first. You will notice that the only thing working here are the basic links but the essential functions such as the search engine, the recent question list, and EXTERNAL (I need to emphasize this because we have internal) question submission are NOT working. I would like to supply photos but the homepage is too large for a snapshot. Please explore the homepage and you will see what I mean.

Now, try to create an account by clicking the Join Now at the upper right section of the screen. Fill all fields with whatever you likejust remember your username and password because we will use that to explore the interior of the site (please see Figure 12).

After clicking join now, you will be redirected to the Login Page. Now, try to log in.

Please refer to control panel, the heart of the website (please see Figure 13)

Figure#13

<img org_src="http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/3237/figure13.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by src="http://img638.imageshack.us/img638/3237/figure13.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us"/>

Notice that the first 3 links above FAQ is not working at all!!! (please see Figure 14)

Figure#14

Now, let's create a question. Click Ask A Question. Complete all field and do not forget to add an attachment (at least a blank text) and submit it. Finally, a vital function LOOKS working but is it really? The attachment is missing! *sigh*

Now, I feel like answering questions. Click Browse and select a question you wish to answer and click Submit Solution. Wow! ERROR PAGE (please see Figure 15).

Figure#15

<img org_src="http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/3951/figure15.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by src="http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/3951/figure15.jpg" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us"/>

There still some of issues about the site and I honestly like to add more but as I was drafting this, I already have 3-paged MS Word but I believe that the issues mentioned above alone proves that the site is not functioning and failed to address our needs.

We asked refund from Ankit. Ankit told us that they cannot issue refund because they invested time and manpower in creating the site. Is this a valid reason? Come to think of this. Assume that I ordered 5-layered chocolate cake from an alleged master chef that he should deliver on December 15, 2010. However, on December 15, he did not deliver it. Instead, on December 30, he delivered a 3-layered booger-flavored cake and insisting for me to take the cake because they spent long days to finish that. Is it rational? A sane mind will definitely say that the chef's reason is not valid. Aside from the fact that cakes was not delivered on time, the cake was not made according to the specification and the cake is not edible at all. That's synonymous to what Ankit and company did.

Our experience withHigen Technology Solution operated primarily by Hardik J. Desai and Ankit K. Shukla is a horror. Not only that they are unprofessional, they are also liar.

Did you notice their logo in Figure 10? That's how it partly summarized our experience with them.

[They] Run faster WITH OUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

Costs less TO THEM BUT COSTS LOT TO US.

And [they] never breaks BECAUSE IT WAS US WHO WAS LEFT BROKEN IN THE END.

I can't believe we paid a total of$1,784.88 for such pathetic website. Indeed, a total ripoff.

Beware of them, or better yet, never deal with these people if you know what's good for you!

I had a similar experience with Higen Tech Solutions, HArdik Desai and Ankit Shukla. October 2010 - February 2011.

For a website that they said would be done in less than a month, it took them over 2-3 months, and still they did not finish the site, also problems with Paypal linkage.

After many calls to INDIA! from Taiwan, I found out from Ankit, that Hardik and him were not in partnership anymore and that's why they were not answering my calls. Ankit said that he would sort out my website's problem. That never happened and I never heard from him again.

Now I see from your post that these liars are still operating. They obviously lied to me, and i was scammed. Luckily I didn't spend as much as you guys did, but I still lost a lot of business because of them.

Get these scammers!!!
