After sucking me in to spending an afternoon doing a bogus report for which I was supposed to receive $750, then $2K a month for on-going work, the next step in the scam was revealed to me, which was so transparently obvious, these guys must think we're children. Here's my 2nd task as sent by "Chris" or "Willie" or Boris or whatever the hell his real name is: Assignment Details Assignment Number: 58-902201 Assignment Type: Personal Request from the existing client Assignor / Supervisor Christopher Smith Due Date ASAP Task Description When travelling to Europe, our client has purchased a gift for his European partners. It is called Winter day ( in Russian). Its hand made by the artist named Mihailovskij Vyacheslav ( ). Its pretty exclusive and expensive gift (up to $10,000). Unfortunately, this painting was damaged. The only photo we have is attached. Quality of this photo is very poor. Considering dimensions of the painting it is impossible to make a photo-copy or the painting. So the only option is have the same artist re-create this painting Mihailovskij Vyacheslav. This man is alive, doing well. His artwork is presented on his website http://artmilovsky.ru/gallery.html Our client had his email and website address, so its not so complicated. Artist name Mihailovskij Vyacheslav email [email protected] website http://artmilovsky.ru/gallery.html address office 2, 13 Krajniaja street, Saint-Peterburg, Russia Your task is 1) to contact the Artist. he speaks English (our client bought this painting from the artist) 2) negotiate if possible to re-create this painting our client will pay extra $$$, money is not an issue 3) Follow up the process so the client gets his copy ASAP. It has to be shipped to Los Angeles, CA No doubt there would next be a problem w/ THEIR payment method, and as I had the "assignment", they would ask me to buy it and be reimbursed later. to MY $10K! How patently obvious. With all this info plus what is on your site already about them, can't the "Internet Police" shut these clowns down? They got my e address off Monster.com - they're preying on honest people looking for work and they should be lined up against the Kremlin wall and shot down like dogs. |
