Heart Check America
Heart Check America 10 year contract for Heart Scam America..$2,644 out of business 3 of my friends scammed! San Diego, California
17th of Jun, 2011 by User215304
November 2010, I went to heart Scan America for my Free Heart Scan, was shown a few videos one of which was an Oprah segment from her show touting the full body scan. I have wished to have one since that date. The salesman, Louis Micheli was quite compelling, told me way too many stories about his divorce and his life, he finally sold me on a contract for a full body scan every other year should I wish, or other scans could be included along with a virtual colonoscopy, or I could donate to a family member..in the process I meet other members of the San Diego office, all had worked together in time share sales and been re-trained in Chicago to run this office. They had a compelling offer for me since I am a great networker. For every referral I sent and had a free heart scan wheather they signed up or not, I would be given a $50.00 referral fee. I received one $50.00 check from the Irvine office. I have three friends who purchased the same contract as me, which is most disturbing to me. The last week of March I called to book my full body scan for June 13 since I needed to wait that long, per my MD. No one was there after I waited 45 minutes I called and the numbers were not good anywhere, I did speak with a former employee who booked the appointments for my referrals, he told me they had shut down and the main people were David and Lisa Haddad out of the Chicago Tinley Park office. Later I called the leasing office for San Diego, they would not tell me how long the office had been closed but I believe most offices shut down in April. I was told also that many of their employees were not paid. What a shame because it was a great concept, just slimy people running the operations. I am hoping for a class action lawsuit! Body Imaging Business Pushes Scans Many Don’t Need — Including Me

You are part of over 2, 000 patients that signed-up for this program and will probably loose most or all your money. If you did a Google search on this company 1-2 years ago, you would begin to seen complaints from patients and even former employees.
I would also suggest you do frequent Google search on Heart Check America and read what other patients have said and their suggestions. You must file a complaint with the CA attorney general's office.
The sales staff are skilled at fear sales tactics and is why they have been so successful. All locations closed in April-May. May others lost money - radiologists, real estate managers, utility companies, supply vendors, service companies, etc. so the owners will have many investigations and legal problems ahead. The owners ( Haddad ) claimed they took in 30 million in two years and still could not pay the rent, etc so someone has the money. Do not pay any company for monthly dues or anything like that. If you paid via credit card, contact them and claim this was a fraud business and you should get money credited back to you -- do not give up on this point.
