Warning - Handyman Matters SCAM

For the customer, you could receive high quality work, or very poor work, depending on the employee you happen to get. Turnover rate is high because the owner refuses to keep anyone more than 3 months. New employees get $50 taken out of their first check, supposedly for shirts, hats & car magnets that they don't give you because they don't plan to keep you more than 3 months. Because it's less than 3 months, you cannot collect unemployment. If you're doing a good job, you may get a great review at 2 months, and then right before 3 months, they come up with a bogus reason to get rid of you. They set you up to fail. Estimates are quoted for less hours and money than they should be, and then if you go over because your fellow employee is slow, they dock both of your pay. Not a good company to work for.
