Should of listened to the manager that told me about Greg O'Brien when I interviewed with Prudential "he said Greg is a SNAKE in the GRASS". I wanted to give this guy the benefit of the doubt because he acts like a family man. He is not! I was hired as a Agent in Illinois and promised to become a District Manager. I held a meeting (at my expense) to hire agents. Greg O'Brien sent another manager (Joe - I forget his last name) to MY meeting (because he never planned to make me a manager) and they hired a bunch of the agents that came to the meeting. Then they gave THOSE AGENTS leads and charged them against commissions (I think this is how Greg O'Brien makes money). However, I (and my agents) paid for leads, and got leads that had been worked many times by other agents (Greg O'Brien resold leads as new to make more money). We didn't get near the # of leads we were promised, but the leads we did get were old and worked. I also was never paid one single over ride on a single agent (I think this was the plan). Any agent can go to almost any company and get twice they pay. Plus the lead cost is so high, that you will never make any money. Only Greg O'Brien and Mutual of Omaha makes the money. It seems like management has very high turnover as well in Greg's office (located in Rosemont Illinois). Also Greg O'Brien seems to have a chip on his sholder. You always hear him talking about Agents leaving because they were losers, failed, it is always 100% the Agents fault. You never hear one positive thing about anyone that is no longer working for Greg O'Brien. My advice... either contract somewhere else, or drive a truck.

Ha! This is the guy that got fired from Prudential in 2004 or 2005. He claims he retired. This post is great! I believe it! All I have to say is KARMA Mr. O'Brien. The truth always comes out!
