Got a letter saying my acct is severely overdrawn. A 36 dollar purchase has led to my acct being overdrawn over $300 dollars to date. All because this "bank" puts a hold on your checks and doesn't clear them fast enough. Then the system is often down so you cannot accurately check your balance. They will keep letting charges go through to accumulate fees, (ie a $30 fee on a $4 purchase, plus $3 per day), until, (as I was informed by a teller) your rack up -$700. This seems to me so they can then sell your acct to a collection agency for the inflated price. Customer service is nil, I am referred to a "Ginny" Netwick who on one of the few occasions she decides to answer her phone says that not much can be done, if I call back later maybe she can patch me through to a decison maker. She cant give me the decision makers name though, because "she is a real busy person". Of course when I call back its the same round of maybe I answer the phone, maybe not. After nearly 30 days of these games I con a teller into reluctantly giving me another person's name, (Shannon Cooper) and transferring me to them, sadly they dont answer their phone either. Website doesn't list any employees or a way to contact them. WHATS GOING ON HERE??? I did notice they are closing a branch, though, good! Ive never dealt with any bank before that doesn't try to provide some level of customer satisfaction. Good riddance, you guys are out of my way anyway, Ill keep dealing with my respectable banks! Also your hours are incovenient too, only open to 4pm??? Update 3/4/11: I just got off the phone with teller "Chandra" who when asked if I could get an email address for one of these people to contact them that way, replied "umm, I dont think she has one". This is ridiculous. |
