graduationsashes.com finalstep.net Lied about sashes, embroidery came out, got sashes AFTER graduation. COMPANY NOT IN USA! DO NOT SEND MONEY! Seattle

My club decided to order our sashes online and we found graduationsashes.net, the website seemed funny because there was a robot talking on the homepage but we ordered anyways. We had to email someone named Doreen(who claimed to be in Washington state). She said we would have to pay through paypal(which seemed fishy, but we didn't think much of it). After we paid we were promised our sashes to be delivered in 2 weeks.

After two weeks passed, I attempted to call Doreen, but there is NO PHONE NUMBER on the website!! After searching and searching, I found that graduationsashes.net links to finalstep.net and graduationstoles.net ( I think they are all the same company). But still, I could not find a number! I sent an email demanding to speak to someone, then finally someone called me back that could barely speak English, saying that the order has already shipped.

I finally got the sashes a week late, 2 days after my graduation! When I opened the package, the label said that it was shipped from China!! I guess the sashes got lost in customs or something, at least that's what the delivery guy said. When I pulled the sashes out, first off they smelled really bad and then a lot of the embroidery was coming out of the sashes!! Also, the embroidery on one side was completely crooked on most of the sashes!!

I never got a refund and I was just over it at that point, my graduation was already over. I just gave out the crappy sashes to my club members and tried to forget about it, but I wanted to just caution anyone from ordering from this company so they do not experience the same things I have had to deal with.
