| Exact same thing just happened to me but from a position I applied for on Craigslist. They used the same phrasing with a different front company, and the syntax of the wording was just off enough to be suspicious. I logged my convo too and I'm reporting it here. |

| Something similar just happened, but I was told that they was sending me a check to buy new office equipment and to buy the accounting software with. They did not ask me for any startup money and said I would get paid every friday either via wire transfer, direct deposit, or check. I chose wire transfer until I get paid the first couple of times. We will see how everything works out. |

my wife sent her application to [email protected] for a payroll clerk work from home position for goldman sachs. She was interviewed online via yahoo messenger by the screenname "clarkrobinson"
She refused to give out bank acount info and the guy said he would send a check overnight to buy software and the next day she was supposed to be online the next morning at 8am the day the check would come but clark robinson was not online. I looked into the whole ordeal and found the above scam witch is identical to our situation. I thought it sounded to good to be true, and it was... |

| just happened to me. Ladies name was Rachel_pinker on yahoo messenger. The day after i posted my resume online. Same exact wording. As soon as she said I had to pay to get a job I knew it was a scam. |

I just finished my so called interview this morning. They tried to get me to buy software but I told her(Mrs. Renee Reid was the name that being used) that im barely working now and I will not put money into a jobim looking to recieve money for working. then she assured me that I would not have to pay anything and that they were going to send me all new equipment for the job( lap top, copier, scanner) which still sounds to good to be true. Some of the complaints I have read sound similar to what was told to me so... im waiting to see where this goes. When I find out more I will be sure to post my results. below is some of the so called interview between me and "Mrs. Reid"

| Just had the same thing happen to me by Elina Walters- if it sounds too god to be true, it is! I told her I wasn't giving her my bank info! |

| Same thing just happened to me. Once Ms Elina Walters started asking me personal questions (age, are you married, Bank info- never gave it), I looked up this website for the scam. Went back mid conversation and said no thanks! |
