Ernest J McMurray was a trusted accountant for a Rochester New York businessman, It was proven that he stole over $500,000. but the business owner says that it was more than a million, plus a million in other losses due to Ernie's corruption. The Monroe County District Court, with a newly appointed judge, despite a recommendation that ERnie serve 2 to 7 years in prison to have justice served, the new judge let him walk...and he smooths the easy out by saying that he must pay the businessman back the money. Now, this ripoff goes 2 ways. First the business man lost money, and then the legal system did not give a just sentence. Ernest was found guilty, but he had a wife in a wheelcahir, and an expensive lawyer, so he walked out... Ask yourself, how is Ernest J McMurray supposed to earn any money to pay the man back? Is he supposed to steal it from another victim, or should he try to win it at blackjack ( his hobby). Those are the only things he is qualified to do that pay over minimum wage. The man owes millions, not hundreds. The sentencing judge was a JOKE. Better if he had been sent to jail, where he belongs because he is a typical low life thief. google him to read the whole story, well, as a biased local writer explains his version.
