Global Travel International Valu-Pass cannot cancel services charges your account combines deals with other offers gives you the run-around Maitland

This company is a tough one to categorize or criminalize since they combine their offers with other businesses or freebies. They also go by a different name (for example, I didn't know I was dealing with GTI, I thought I was dealing with Valu-Pass). Who knows what other business titles they might haveset up and shut down!They suck you in,byselling you on"saving you money" or something else, which is ironic since when your back is turnedyour credit card is getting charged unbeknownst to you. You "supposedly" paymembership fees to have access to their ability to save you money through rebates or coupons.

Here'show it happened. I got sucked intosome on-line proposal toearn a Walmart card by signing up for 10 services or so (they attach themselves to credible businesses like "netflix", etc.). After I signed up for the 10,I was asked to sign up for 10 more, at which point, Idecided to keepa couple and cancel everything else. Valu-Pass, however,I could NOT cancel. Their phone number and their email requires that you enter thephonenumberyou set the account up with in order to cancel. ONLY, it's set uptoNOT acceptany numberyou enter(since Ientered the correct number and incorrect numbers, nothing worked).

So, Ifound an email address on their site and tried that.I noticed that mycredit card was charged $4.95 and then re-credited $4.95. Two days later, HOWEVER, two more charges for $4.95 mysteriously appeared. This is howI beleive they rip people off.I filed a complaint with the Quebec office since they have a UK address, but I will also be filing one with Florida since I noticed their GTI has a florida address. If you have had any interaction with this buiness, I heavily advise youcheck your credit cards!
