yeh I did too. Same guy in West hollywood, but htis time he is Antonio.
I got 4 beautiful leather Armani jackets and gave him $200. Go figure. They look authentic and I suspect they are stolen now that I think of it. |

SCAM ALERT! Was in London, Mayfair area when a small car (looked like an Italian make). He asked me for directions to the airport with a map in his hand as he was lost. After giving him some directions on how to get to the airport he said that we should do business together in the Middle East (my nationality).
He gave me a business card that reads Marco Antonio, Giorgio Armani, Manager, Via monte napoleone 3 milano italia fax:081600893 Tel:3310887765 Email: [email protected].
After that, he offered me 2 leather jackets that he claimed were worth £3, 000 for helping him with the directions. He said that he had lost some money at an after party of an event at Harrods (luxury store) were he was releasing the jackets that he designed (same jackets as the ones he gave me).
He asked me if I had some cash for fuel as he was now driving to Italy instead of going to the airport. I gave him £50. He said that it would just be enough for coffee and he needed more.
I gave him an additional £50 and never saw him again. Decided to post the story as I found some useful information here. |

Was in Mountain View, California. Two guys in a black SUV. One with strong Italian accent and one with fluent English. They asked me for direction to san francisco airport and then wanted to sell their jackets for $150. When I told him I did not want it, they went away immediately. |
