Lol...I know exactly who this is and she has been nothing but a pain in my rear! What is being said is not true, order samples from me and see for yourselves. I have nothing to hide. I have many satisified and consistant customers. What she doesn't realize is that MAC changes they packaging and just recently changed their barcodes. They just went from being stickers to being printed on the box. The ones on the MAC store now are printed on the box. We had to filter through the old boxes first, that is what the manufacturer sends us. Now we currently have the new boxes with the barcodes on the box just like the MAC store. This woman is upset because she tried to up her numbers on ebay and sell more per month and ebay cut her off. She asked me to provide a document stating my MAC was authentic. I provided her with that and ebay still would not let her sell. This is not my fault. That is what happens when you are impatient. Anyone can call me anytime and I will send pictures, sample products...whatever you need. I can prove that my MAC is INDEED AUTHENTIC =).
Don't let one persons feedback persuade you to think otherwise. She does not know much about MAC to begin with, One little teenager on the other side of a MAC counter doesn't know much about old MAC packaging either. I have found this out my self and schooled a few MAC associates on prior packaging. Pigment jar sizes have changed etc. Most MAC lovers know these things. She obvioslly doesn't. |

Hello,
As the CEO of Get Your MAC On, LLC I am very upset with the information in the report above. I am very aware of who this person is, being that this is our ONLY complaint in 3 years of business.
We pride ourselves on our reputation and we wouldn’t be able to stay in business very long if we were dishonest or unethical in our business practices. Moreover, Get Your MAC On, LLC has many customers all over the world and these businesses also rely on us and have for several years and we take that responsibility very seriously. Lastly, we are fully insured with a 200 year old insurance company that is A+ rated. They have done the research on our company and deemed us to be an insurable and sustainable business. In order to accomplish this, a company must first be inspected and scrutinized and we have never had a claim or blemish on our stellar record.
That being said, there are some common misconceptions customers may encounter regarding MAC products. First of all, being an employee at MAC does not make someone an expert of the authenticity of MAC products. I personally have taken product to authorized MAC retailers and in the same store you’ll have some employees that will automatically dismiss the product as not authentic and others that will confirm the authenticity. Reasons for this vary from packaging to smell to labeling and any other technical reason for which someone may believe a product is not authentic. This is understandable because the fake MAC products are very convincing and only someone with the utmost knowledge in the manufacturing and packaging process is truly qualified to simply look at a product with the naked eye and determine its authenticity. The truth of the matter is that retail store workers are certainly not experts with this determination. Some may have only worked there for a short period of time. How much can you possibly learn about a 28 year old company and it's yearly packaging changes, in only a few months? Since this will remain an area of contention, there is a very simple and effortless solution to this problem. Simply have the authorized MAC retailer scan the barcode of the MAC products we supply. As long as this retailer carriers the same product in their store, the product will register in their computer systems. These barcodes are proprietary to MAC/Estee Lauder and are the finest form of proof available. The person that filed this complaint did not have the MAC store scan the products that were sent to them. If they had done so, they would have been authenticated right then and there without any further issues. If anyone has any doubts in the authenticity of our product, please feel free to order samples from us and take them to the MAC counter to show yourselves approved. We back up our products 100%. I hope this explanation helps to alleviate any further concerns.
Best Regards,
