Get miracle socks |
Not as advertised |

the advertisement stated 2 pairs of miracle socks for $10. Good deal I thought, then I remembers being caught in a similar scam. You might get 2 pairs of socks plus the foot cream, but it won't cost you $10, if costs more, much more - $25.00. So, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. |

That is correct, it says in parentheses (plus p&h) at the bottom of the "extra free crap" portion. They dont tell you that until the end of the transaction when you get a receipt stating that your purchasing only one (1) pair of socks for $20! I was so furious that I emailed their customer service and to be on the safe side I filed a complaint case with the FTC as well. Along with the charges, I was charged a $1 "electronic processing fee" which I also believe is just more BS from them. And on top of that, they upped the shipping fee from what they quoted me before I ended up on the receipt screen. All together what should have only costed me about $23 ended up costing $37 and a lot of headache and red tape.
Warning to everyone, steer clear of this scam it's a waste of time and money and no one gets a good pair of socks either way. |

Update on my current situation, It took 7 days before I heard a reply from their customer service, I was told that I had clicked "yes" on a deluxe upgrade (but I know i did nothing of the sort). They told me they corrected the problem and adjusted my price to $24.95, still not the price expected, but much lower then they previously charged me. I have yet to see it appear on my credit card statement, so I won't be stating that I'm "happy" with their services just yet. It's been seven days and for the first time I just received an order confirmation email with my updated receipt. I checked my order tracking number and lo and behold, my item has not even in the mail yet??? I pay all those extra fees and crap and you can't even ship out your goods within 3 days? |

From a 'medical supply' store I have just purchased 4 pairs of T.E.D. anti-embolism stockings at a good bargain price ($60.80) n order to get FREE S&H and the delivery was prompt. It sure was worth it and yes, I am happy with their products. |

You are not told until you finalize your purchase that you are also subscribing for TWO YEARS to Redbook magazine and you have to wirte to them to cancel!!! This is all in very small print. Also, the "Customer Service" link does not work. Shipping and handling for the $10.00 socks is $13.98!! All of a sudden the $10.00 socks are now $24.00. I've heard of low down sneaky underhanded greedy opportunistic business practices but this is just plain nasty. |

The price seemed good; I have been buying socks like these for five years. The shipping was $27!!
I have bought and sold on ebay so I am familiar with shipping prices and this is extortionate. I had a computer shipped from New York to California for $10.They do not mention that in the TV ad or in the early part of the order form.
I did not complete the order. |

I ordered the socks and they had the audacity to try and sign me up for some crap that would cost me $39.95 per month when they called to "verify the address". I regret my purchase, because I'm wondering how else I might have been swindled. I did not notice anything about a 2 year subscription to Redbook Magazine that someone mentioned above. I am going to have to look out for that! |

My husband ordered these sock from the television. He was charged a ridiculous price of 69 dollars. They have sent 5 dollars back to him to send back two pairs. Upon receiving the two pairs they said they would credit him 30 some dollars and some change. It cost us 11 dollars to send them back priority and with confirmation a week ago. They are still saying they have not received them; however the postal service has confirmation so they must credit the money back. Moniter your charge accounts for charges from Budget Savers, Great Fun, and Shopper Advantage. They gave his information to these individuals despite my husband stating he was not interested. After 4 hours on the phone today these have been cancelled. Be sure you write the confirmation cancelation number down. I have reprted thi to the BBB, the state (NY) and federal Attorney Generals Offices, and the Consumer Protection Agency. |

I've been scammed In the past by similar to these who review. Shipping and handling is a bogus ripoff! |

I would never purchase anything from these people...no supposed "compression" socks, no postage stamps, not even dog food! They are obviously scammers playing on the emotions of unsuspecting people who believe they are actually getting a good deal. Real compression socks are classified by their gradient pressure (20mmHg, 30mmHg, etc). These are the "ugly" medical socks the miracle socks TV commercial makes fun of. I called miracle socks and asked what gradient pressure these wonderful sock were that they were advertising. "Oh, they have lots of pressure" was the answer I received. I asked if they could give me a real millimeter of mercury (mmHg) number and the rep had no clue. These are bogus socks with about as much compression as a pair of stretchy nylon socks. They are worth less than something you can find in the fifty-cent bin at the Dollar Store. Don't be duped into purchasing these inferior socks and if they give you too much crap, report them the the Federal Trade Commission for deceptive advertising because they are obviously selling a product that is not as advertised. If it were totally up to me, I would put them out of business by whatever means necessary...legal or not. |

I didn't get as far in the purchase as others. Once I realized my shipping was $41 for some socks and "free" tubes of miracle foot cream, I stopped the order. I'll just buy support hose at the drug store. They also have a black and neutral and far less expensive. |
