This company has continued to ripoff customers for years by changing its name. It tells customers to expect a long delay in shipment in order to perpetrate the fraud. You wait patiently for a product that never arrives. The websites are very slick and inviting, promising prizes and offering dummy testimonials. The websites all have a similar look with nice colors and animation, illustrating their 'across-the-country' service. |

WAIT UNTIL YOU READ THIS ABOUT BEAUTY UNIVERSE COMPLAINT, GET JAZZED BEAUTY SUPPLY, ETC, We ordered from this Paypal Authorized store online Beauty-Universe.com. I ordered seeing the trademark name Paypal and VISA, thinking it was a legitimate company. Once I purchased the item, they had me fill out a status report form to track my order. At that point, an auto email arrived. It warns that filing a "dispute" while the order is in progress you suffer monetary damage: "For such fraudulent chargebacks &/or disputes we immediately invoice the customer a chargeback/dispute service fee of $50.00 to $100.00."
I finally disputed my item with Paypal, risking such huge retaliation, but had to after not receiving the goods I purchased. My money was taken, and no good were ever shipped.
You do not learn this policy of fines when you order, nor that they are a shell company that takes money, and does not ship products. Only after your purchase, does Beauty-Universe send you an email that if you dispute the order in process, you are subject to the $50.00 to $100 fees, no exceptions. Meanwhile, they keep telling you your order is "In Process." Beauty-Universe makes you fill out a status form online to track your order, where they promise to ship in 7 to 21 days (not counting weekends or holidays!) - With weekends, that could be 35 days. It pushes you very close to the date when you can no longer dispute not receiving the items, and you are risking being charged a huge $100+ fees for doing so.
Here is exact wording from Beauty-Universe's policy in quotes: "According to Federal & State laws it is highly illegal and considered fraud for a customer to perform an unauthorized credit card charge-back &/or file a dispute while their order is either "In Process", "On Backorder", "In Transit" to or "Received" by the customer. For such fraudulent chargebacks &/or disputes we immediately invoice the customer a chargeback/dispute service fee of $50.00 to $100.00 (not including the Aragon International Collection Agency's recovery costs) plus the total cost of the order - no exceptions." My Bank says there is no such Law. However, Beauty-Universe keeps telling you your order is "In Process", "In Transit", etc., while waiting out the days to rip off your money. They say cosmetic products & tools cannot be returned for any reason - No refunds. They charge a 25% restocking fee on "refused orders" or attempted "order cancellations - no exceptions."
You don't find any of this out when you order, their website has Visa, Paypal, and legitimate companies at the top. Only AFTER you order and ask for the status since the items are not received, do they send you these heinous terms! Their website just shut down, no product arrived, and they took our money. I looked on Google and you can find complaints about Beauty-Universe. Apparently, someone else who got ripped off reported that they keep switching their name and they are going by Get Jazzed Beauty Supply today.
Help others and spread the word. Write on this column so we know what is happening. I am very upset, we lost our money and need it back, and want others to be warned. I ordered product from Get Jazzed Beauty Stores and waited for the product to arrive. My account was debited the amount of the purchase and needless to say I was dooped. I followed up with a tracking an order policy on their website three times and never received a response. There isn't a phone number, etc.
Please be aware of this scam and do not lose money as I have. |
