Beware of this 'man!' Do not hire him, do not work with him, do not trust him, do not under any circumstances give him any money what-so-ever!!!! If you find yourself currently working with or for him; If you are contemplating hiring him as an employee, mentor, tutor, etc; if you can make excuses for him; all that means is that a 'snake oil salesmen' has gotten the best of you. Do not worry! You are not alone! Gene suffers from a severe lack of ethics. This is important to note since you must ask yourself if you want to be in business with someone who can't begin to understand the concept of morality. Gene cares about two things in this world; 1. getting your money and 2. spending it on escorts, call girls, and prostitutes. Among his many 'businesses' (and I use that word loosely) is his real estate mentoring program. The gist of his $10,000 program is as follows: 1. You give him $10k; or 9,8,7,6 k depending upon his special at the moment (this may seem high but he is a published author that has bought and sold hundreds of homes, helped improve the image of struggling businesses, and single-handedly created the IT publishing business... right?) 2. He takes you to dinner. He takes $100 from your 10k and tips a maitre d for the best table at the restaurant. That's your first day of training. 3. He takes $200 to $500 of your 10k and pays a real estate agent or broker to drive you around and point out all the houses they own and that you will own too. That's your second day of training. 4. He gives you a three ring binder full of generalized business & marketing 101 pages printed off of the internet. That's your third and final day of training. In an effort to show both sides I will tell you he has a following of supporters. Granted they are a few family members like his niece, a couple of friends, and a scattering of Vegas locals that he tips well; but nonetheless they do support his actions. He is a charming likeable guy and is very non threatening. I'm out 10k but I know it didn't go to waste. Some Vegas hooker was able to pay her rent and car payment for a few months because of my dealing with someone of ill repute.
