| I accepted a job through Tecdirect for a company called "Geeks Home And Office". They required me to work for $40/hr. to remove viruses from a home client and have not honored their contract. I am one of hundreds of techs who has complained about this company not paying their techs or delaying payment. They shorted thier payment to me for only 1 hour even though I spent 2.5 hours at the client and they charged the client $189.00!!!! These guys are a help desk scam operation. They advertise all over the web, charge outrageous fees to unsavy clients and then get unsuspecting techs to do the work, only to either shortchange the techs, or not pay at all, and collect the money for themselves! They are basically Internet Technology Thieves, and need to be shut down whereve they do business!!!! Help me to stop their devious money grab! Shut these thieves down!! |

| Thanks to CJ at Tecdirect, and his excellent customer service, I recieved full payment for the work and was taken care of very well. Thank you CJ and I appreciate G&HO expediting the payment after the errors occurred in this online payment system. All is well, and I hope they can rectify all the bad reports I found online. | I wanted to post another comment to say the apparently there are new owners of Geeks Home and Office, so they are trying to improve the reputation from the prior owners mistakes. They were very helpful in getting me paid quickly and rectifying any errors that occured. Kudos to the new ownwers for their speedy repair of the problems and seeing to it that I got paid in a decent time frame. Good luck on building a new quality reputation. Thanks again! |

| The previous comments here are all lies. First, CJ from TecDirect is a woman. Second, no, Geeks Home and Office does not have new owners. It has been owned by the Cavallaro family from day one. They're liars and thieves. Stay away from this company unless you like working for free. Third, I have had the same situation and TecDirect did absolutely nothing to help me. They didn't respond to any of my phone calls or e-mails. |
