When I first met Dmitri Gailit, he came across as very professional and well versed. However as we begin our business relationship, he turned out to be the exact opposite. He was quick to yell, and scream the minute I hinted at dissatisfaction. He blamed the companies which he worked with for any errors made and refused to reimburse me for fully insured shipments. Dmitri accepted money from me, in return for shipping cars to several locations; Egypt, Italy, and Germany. Out of the 10 cars I shipped with him, only 8 arrived. 2 were stopped, and held up, and never even made it to their final destination. I had to take a loss and try to sell those cars in countries where I did not even have contacts. The 8 cars that did arrive, were either badly damaged, or had emblems, rims, and other expensive items missing. When I voiced my concerns to GCI, and Dimitri with whom I talked to personally, he claimed he was not responsible for such damages, and began to yell. When I asked him about the shipping insurance, and that I wished to collect it, he denied it, and refused to talk with me on the phone, but not before screaming out a flurry of deragatory curse words and racial slurs. I am hispanic, and not often the target of racial discrimination, but the hatred in his voice when calling me "dirty spic" was not only uncalled for but very shocking. I am writing this to warn others. Not only is this company unproffessional, and fails to deliver the services which they promise. They also are run by a truly racist, ill tempered, and unproffessional man. Neither Dmitri Gailit or GCI should be companies/individuals which you get involved with. They will not only take your money, but also degrade you with insults and shouting. Save yourself the stress. Stay away from this company.
