I am warning people about garrettcentral.com (a medwing company). I placed an order with them on 2/16/2013 for an ACE 350 metal detector. The next day (after they had already charged my account) the sent me an automated email stating the product was out of stock and asked if I wanted to cancel or amend my order. I called and spoke with someone who seemed rather pleasant and she told me that she would contact the accounts department to have my order canceled and refunded and it would take 24-48 to process and I would recieve an email after the credit had been processed. I have yet to recieve any other email or my $300 refund. Today is 3/09/2013 and I have tried calling since that initial call and just get a busy signal from both telephone numbers. Also, today I can no longer access the site, it takes me directly to the Garrett manufacturing site. Which leads me to believe that this was no a legit company and that they stole my money as well as others that I have read on here. I am going to attempt to call the Medwing general service part of the so-called ripoff company and see if I can get anything accomplished from that end. Please if purchasing these items online go to Kellycodetectors.com, great customer service and its a legit company that doesn't steal people's hard earned money!
