Gamesellerpros Albert Arcuri Stiffed my on the website redesign contract he signed Orlando, Florida |

I answered an ad on craigslist and met up with Jonathan and Albert and, after speaking at length and doing quite a bit of work for them, signed a contract. Everything seemed to be progressing smoothly on my end; they always seemed to be not quite sure of the work they wanted done (asking me multiple times to do things, or to revert things to a previous state) or not being able to provide me with the content needed (we were doing a total redesign of the site, front and backend.) I had done quite extensive modifications to their backend system and the end-time for the contract came and went - I, quite naturally, asked to be paid, assuring them that I would finish the rest of the job once they got me the required information. They refused to pay, so I took all my work back (I own the copyright to it until they pay) - they begged and pleaded with me to put it back - they would pay me immediately. Like an idiot, I put it back and we continued to work on it a few more days - they always had another excuse on why they couldn't meet me to pay. The final straw came when they bailed on me the one night they finally agreed to pay - I rode my motorcycle home (after finding out they had gone to the movies instead - not really professional!) and got caught in a huge traffic jam. Come to find out, they lit up my phone like I had won the lottery, asking where I was and making it seem like it was all a misunderstanding. To make a long story short, after some more website shenanigans, it was clear to me that Albert had no intention of upholding his end of the contract - as the amount was small, I did not want to litigate (his threats meant nothing to me - I have a minor in Criminal Justice and know quite a bit of Business Law and knew that a judge would see right through his b.s.) and decided to just let it go. Until I remembered Ripoff Report. Just want to let you all know - from my experience and the experience of others on here, you are better off staying away from GameSellerPros. If you want to level up, have fun and do it yourself - the right way! |
