I am taking the time to write this report because I want everyone to know what kind of operation FBC is running in Miami. I don't want anyone else to spend their hard earn money on these idiots!! They lie, they go back on their word, the customer service is horrible and they simply don't care. The saleman, Richard tells you all these great things about the club until they have your money. Then it starts, you broke this, you broke that. They charge ridiculous amounts of money for things that don't cost that much to replace and then they don't replace it. So it seems that they keep your money and don't fix whatever they accuse you of so they can accuse the next poor sucker of the same thing. It's a great racket they have going. If they do something wrong, good luck getting anyone to call you back. They simply don't care. It is very disappointing because they can have a great club if they get rid of everybody, except for 2 people that seem to care alittle bit but they just look at you as to say, what can I do? They go back on their word with contract prices. They tell you one thing and when you think all is good they change it. That is when I said, enough!! They don't even try to save the membership because they know they are wrong and have no basis for an argument. I seriously DO NOT recommend these people because you will end up bitter like myself. It is so sad that they treat and do these things, they should seriously been investigated by some form of governmental agency. They need to realize they can not treat people like this and have no consequences. Thank You |

Completely agree. We have had such a frustrating experience with them and the worst part is the members have no recourse. They already have your large down payment so if you quit the club, they win anyway. They are constantly accusing us of breaking the club "rules"; however the rules they claim you're breaking are not in the signed contract and when you ask for a written copy of the rules, they never produce one. Equipment on the boat is constantly broken - and although we haven't been accused of breaking anything, I can definitely agree with the comments above, that they do not fix things. I just spoke to Richard, the sales guy who sold us our membership a year or so ago and he basically yelled at me for daring to call him. Last summer he was available 24/7 to answer our questions and now I was told he had appointments all day today, was off tomorrow and going on a long vacation on Wednesday so he wouldn't be able to answer my questions. When I asked if I could speak with someone else in his absense I was told that there wasn't anyone else around. It's so absurd, I almost can't believe it. After we joined the club I read some of the other complaints on-line, but for the first year of our membership we didn't have any problems...it almost feels like they're trying to push us out of the club now that they've collected our money. We've had three "violations" three weekends in a row for "rules" that are not written in the contract after never having any type of "violation" over the past year. Do not waste your money on this club - it will just become a constant aggrevation. |
