I received a check in the mail from Neptune Chemical Pumb Company made out to me in the amount of $320.00. The return address on the envelope was Forward Corporate Business, 22 North Second St., Phoenix, AZ 85004.

I thought it might be a reimbursement from a class action lawsuit I am involved in. I couldn't figure out what else it could be for.

When I went to the bank to cash the check the bank told me that it needed to be released from the company. I called Neptune Chemical PUMP company (the spelling of pump on the check was PUMB) they said that the check number I gave them had been cashed by a company that they paid and they had no record of me and asked me to email them a copy of the check.

I then googled the Forward Corporate Business company and found this website with a complaint that someone had received a check made out to them by a different company, but mailed from Forward Corporate Business.

This was in connection with an application to a Secret Shopper email they received through CareerBuilder online.

I also received an email from Forward business through careerbuilder.com, but I never filled out the application. They must have gotten my address from my resume online and messed up by sending me a check even though i had never filled out an application or worked for them.

So be careful if you get anything from Forward Business LLC, don't deposit the check because it will bounce your account. I am thankful that I actually went into the bank to find out about this check and that I found this site to figure out exactly what this is all about!
